„Amazing 3-night stay! The A-frame is perfect- decorated beautifully and so cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. „We stayed here as our son was competing in the Lake Placid Ironman. This location was perfect. Short drive to Lake Placid. The property was exactly as described and even better in person. As others have mentioned there are steep stairs down to the dock and up to the master bedroom loft, but that didn't bother us. The water is about 5.5' deep off the dock and we swam every day. „Great cabin, very responsive and kind hosts, great location. We stayed for a long weekend with two little kids- great location for hiking and sight seeing. The kids loved the hot tub and loft area. The only suggestion I would have for families with kids is to bring a gate, the stairs are steep. Otherwise we had a great time. Will definitely re-book!“

„Cozy, cute, comfy, private, and tranquil indeed. Didn’t want to stay in busy Lake Placid, which was not too far for me. The sauna and hot tub were a huge plus. 5 stars for two nights. If more nights, it probably would be a 4 star for me because it was not really roomy for me, a big guy. The host communicated and responded well. You can use hosts’ two small kayaks and enjoy paddling in Mirror Lake!“

"Das Cambria Hotel war das schönste auf unserer 4-wöchigen Reise durch die Neu-Englandstaaten. Das lag vor allem an den herzlichen Mitarbeitern (vom Hotel-Manager David angefangen) über die Leute an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Zudem hat das Hotel einige Annehmlichkeiten, die deutlich über dem Durchschnitt liegen. (Laundry, Innenpool, Restaurant-Terrasse mit schönen Möbeln, Kajaks und Tretboote zum Ausleihen und einer schönen Aussenanlage am See mit Feuerstellen) Wir haben uns in dem schönen, recht großzügigen Zimmer mit Pantry, mit Ausblick auf die Berge und dem tollem Badezimmer sehr wohl gefühlt. Von uns gibt es eine Empfehlung für Lake Placid für dieses Hotel."
