Large Kenmare home sleeping 10

Located within the private gated Sheen Falls Country Club, Mountain View 9 is a very large, bright and spacious 4 bedroom holiday home. It can sleep 10-11 people so really is the perfect choice for a larger family or perhaps two families holidaying together.

The living area is open plan but has a clearly defined kitchen, a dining area and then a cosy sitting room with an open fire. The kitchen is very well equipped with gas hob, electric oven, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, microwave and Neff coffee machine. There is a separate utility off the hallway with a washing machine and dryer. The dining table is a real feature of this house - carved from wood, it is a striking piece. There are seats for 8 people with an additional few chairs that can be used for larger groups. Wifi is available free of charge to our guests.

Two of the bedrooms are downstairs. There is a master double with ensuite shower and then a second bedroom with zip 'n link beds that can be set up as one king bed or two single beds - depending on your preference. The main family bathroom is alongside this room and has a bath with shower over it. The remaining two bedrooms are upstairs. Again, one has zip 'n link beds so can be made up as a king bed or two single beds. This room is ensuite with shower. The fourth bedroom is ideal for a family or just for the kids as it has a double bed, wooden bunk beds and a pull out bed from underneath the bunks. Please note that the bunks and pull-out bed are suitable for children under the ago of 16 only. A travel cot and highchair are also provided (we ask that you bring along your own cot linen and blankets please).

Downstairs, doors lead outside to the patio area complete with table and chairs. There is plenty of off-street parking space in front of the house. This is a lovely little group of houses with well-kept gardens filled with seasonal shrubs. You will likely see a deer or two during your stay as they wander freely in the area. Entrance to Mountain View is through electronic gates to which you will be given the access code in advance of your arrival.

SHEEN FALLS LODGE
Sheen Falls Lodge 5* Hotel is located just across the road from Mountain View and offers a formal restaurant and bar along with a more informal bar and restaurant called the Stables. 

PLEASE NOTE:
Mountain View is entirely separate to Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel and while guests are very welcome to dine at either of the two restaurants or enjoy a drink in the bar, it is on the basis of being non-residents so all bookings would be subject to availability. The Easanna Spa onsite offers a range of beauty treatments, again bookable subject to availability. The Hotel pool is solely for the use of Hotel residents, however, during quieter periods, you may be allowed enter on a pay as you go basis (currently priced at €35 per person for up to 2 hours). Please enquire with the Spa reception directly in person.

LOCATION
Kenmare is less than a 5 minute drive from Mountain View. You can walk into the town but the roads are quite narrow and busy. This is a beautiful home in an enviable position so close to Kenmare town.
