Great location- within walking distance to town, restaurants & shopping. The master bedroom was very comfortable and the large bonus room above it was wonderful. We set up an air mattress for our teen son and it was a great space to spread out. The two bedrooms in the front of the house were small with low ceilings and a tight climb of stairs to access. It is charming of course as it’s a historic home but it should be noted as such. Overall super clean and very cozy. The outdoor shower was great but it didn’t have outdoor access exactly. Had to enter hallway in the home to get there. Fortunately we found the little idiosyncrasies charming and rolled with it. Washer & Dryer were fantastic and kitchen was modern & well equipped.

The location and the layout of the house was ideal for our family and visit to the area. We enjoyed morning walks in the morning and evening. It was walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and night life. We all enjoyed exploring Kennebunkport and can't wait to come back. Just be sure to bring shower amenities as they are not provided.

Could be a 5 star but lacking basics. Blind was ripped, sink fell out, no soaps/shampoo in baths. I would love to say it was fabulous, it’s adorable, but the master suite sink fell when we touched the drain. The blind missing faces the busy road. The sink that dropped was major. Very small towels. Otherwise a lovely property with adorable yard and flowers.

This adorable cottage is in the perfect location to the port restaurants and shops. We walked every day and evening into town. The beach is very close as well. The road is a little busy so you have to be careful backing out of the driveway. The furnishings in the house are much moreUpdated than the photos suggest which was a nice surprise. I suspect that we were the first renters of the season as the toiletry amenities were absent (toilet paper, hand soap, etc). We ran to the store to get those and some laundry and dish detergent our first day to remedy that. There are at least 3 knobs/pulls on the kitchen cabinets that need replacing to make them accessible. One drawback is that the best room in the house (a 2nd floor rec room/man cave) is only accessible from the master bedroom so it was unusable. It would be a great room if you have small kids and want them close by but not in the bedroom. The backyard and front patio are very nice spaces to relax and enjoy the outdoors w/ both shady and sunny areas and beautiful flowers. Whether you are first time visitors to Kennebunk or regulars like us, this house is a warm and quaint spot to check out all the sights.

Best Location and layout for a family

Great property- walk to everything - VERY clean. All linens ARE provided (check in details from the rental company say they are not but they are) Very comfortable beds. Everything you need for a great vacation in KPT. A little hot on the 2nd floor during a 90 degree week but there are fans and some AC units on the first floor. A window AC unit upstairs would be our only suggestion. Will def rent this house again.

A Tale of Two Cities

This property has so much potential to get a 5 star rating! We give it 3.5 stars. First, the pictures on this listing do not reflect the property completely. The current furnishings of the house are not the furnishings pictured. I suspect there are new owners and the pictures are from an old listing. There is less furniture than shown, meaning we had to pull chairs from another room to be able to have our whole group convene. Far less decor than pictured - empty curtain rods, nothing on the walls, felt sparse. It has a sense of just not being finished yet. The house has high end finishes but cheap furniture and things falling apart like the gate latch, the towel rack hanging off the wall and many of the kitchen nobs broken off. The unit was well stocked in many ways, including laundry detergent and beach chairs. And at the same time some obvious conveniences were missing like clocks and a trash can in the master bathroom. The house is a close walk to town which is great! But what the photos don't show is that the house is located on an extremely busy road which is very loud. And with no curtains on the front of the house, it lacked privacy, especially at night. The check in processes was easy, however the emails we received were not accurate. It said that linens were not provided so we rented them. When we arrived, the master bedroom had linens which we could use. Overall, there needs to be much more accuracy with this listing. An adorable place, just needs a bit more.

Nous avons passé un long week-end exceptionnel la maison est magnifique vrai petite maison de poupée. Seul bémol on nous avait qu’il n’y avait pas de draps et serviettes et finalement oui.
