« Excellent stay... The hotel is very neat and clean. The dinner was excellent.. Just if the breakfast had been with with some consideration for vegetarians it would have been amazing. Also, may be I did not ask but I need more than one cup of coffee when I am on business travels. In short, I recommend this place to everyone without hesitation. »

« The parking is at the road edge ' not secure ' but ok. The railway line is close with regular trains, my room was very clean and nice linen, staff were friendly and knowledgeable, cooked full English was ok but it seemed they were trying too hard. »

« Une pose s'impose à Stamford et Candlesticks est bien situé non loin du centre ville à pied. Le patron est sympa et a une bonne connaissance de la France. La cuisine est bonne et les chambres sont au calme. »

« Staff were great! Room was a terrific size and the bathroom was stellar. Parking was free. There was no breakfast, but the pub downstairs had games and entertainment. It was summer and quite hot so the windows had to be open resulting in a few spiders making their way in, but that would be expected honestly. I would absolutely stay here again! »

« Very welcoming staff and comfortable stay, we enjoyed eating at the pub too and were able to run a tab on the room which was very convenient. Breakfast was fantastic and varied. Parking was a bit tricky on arrival but was sorted, it’s worth getting in touch before arrival to understand arrangements for this. Would definitely stay again if we visit Oakham in future »

« Large bedroom full of Light with in a little cottage type. Shame there is no direct door from bedroom to bathroom. Nice restaurant and breakfast. Nice outdoor settings »
