Keys family trip

The condo is spacious and very well decorated. Ocean views are beautiful. Balcony has lots of room. Located next to Sunset Park can view awesome sunsets from the balcony. Pool nice. Grounds well maintained. I would stay in this lovely condo again.

This is a beautiful condo with gorgeous views! The property is very well maintained with a great pool and fishing pier-our teenage son had so much fun fishing! There are also several wonderful local restaurants close by. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely

The condo is so lovely and the view from the balcony is spectacular. We spent all our extra time on the balcony, just watching boats, sunsets, clouds, and critters go by. The kitchen has all the things you need for full meals (we did a lot of cooking in the condo). Everything worked well. My only suggestion would be some blackout shades or curtains in the second bedroom. Both the owner and property manager were very responsive and accommodating. It was very quiet at the Key Colony Point property - very few people, and we often had the pool to ourselves. There was construction going on, as May is their renovation/maintenance time, so just be aware there may be construction activity during that month. Quiet and clean, well-maintained unit and overall property. We would stay here again. You can't beat the view!

Keys family vacation

This is an outstanding property. It is extremely clean and well-appointed. The view is spectacular. The facility is excellent with the pool, fishing pier, tennis/pickleball/basketball court. I highly recommend this property.

Condo was spacious, clean and nicely updated. Great central location in the Keys. We liked the quite and we’ll maintained property and found everyone staying there to be friendly. Suggestions to enhance enjoyment would be include utensils for grilling, beach chairs and room darkening shade for 2nd bedroom.

We have traveled to Marathon many times and this property is by far our favorite. We loved everything about it…the location, layout of the condo, the pool, the pickleball court, the sunsets from the balcony, everything was perfect. We will most definitely be booking again.

Paradise Found

What can I say other than everything was perfect. The location can't be beat, the water could not be closer, and the Condo is a slice of heaven. Key Colony Point is a tranquil offshoot from the main road. Look no further because you will not find a better appointed condo in Key Colony. We met the owner and she was an absolute delight. I believe we have found our spot for yearly vacation #2. Thank you all for your kindness. You truly thought of everything to make one's stay the best it possibly could be. We look forward to our return trip!

Wonderful Stay!

This is our first time staying in a condo at Key Colony and it did not disappoint. Though there seemed to be a lot of construction and remodeling it was wonderful. We had a warm welcome from the maintenance team (Don & Michael) and the property manager Elizabeth. They are an asset to the community. Making us feel welcome and keeping us informed. This home is beautiful and the property is stunning. It was a great vacation!

Great vacation!!

The property is very well cared for. We enjoyed every bit of our weeks vacation. The kids snorkeled at the private beach steps from the condo. We used the pool and fishing pier often. The sunsets from the balcony are spectacular!! Many excursions are nearby. The Marathon Lady fishing experience is a must!! My family and I will stay here again in the future hopefully.

Beautiful Condo with amazing ocean views!

We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. It was clean, comfortable, and had amazing ocean views. The property had everything we needed and there are carts you can use for your luggage from the covered parking area which was awesome. We spent many evenings sitting on the balcony watching the iguanas and crabs on the sand below, and saw a small shark and a juvenile manatee swim by in the water. It was so peaceful, and hearing the ocean waves at nights made it easy to fall asleep. If we come back to Marathon, we will definitely stay here again!

Best place I have stayed in the Keys

We go every year to the keys fishing. This has been our favorite. The condo was amazing. The view gorgeous. The property, clean, well maintained and they have thought of everything you might need. The pool was the perfect temperature. Fishing pier was made for fishing with a cleaning station station, benches, and plenty of fish. My kids went back and forth from fish to the pool. The condo felt like a second, better home, and we wish we could of stayed longer. Property manager and owner are very responsive and accommodating. The guest are friendly and overall a very relaxing island feel. Thank you for everything.

A Two Week High School Graduation Vacation

This was our third Marathon vacation and the second time staying at Key Colony Point. We, two adults and two 18-year-old girls, arrived for a two week high school graduation celebration. Upon arriving we were immediately struck by the clean modern décor with lots of room for a family of four. The girls took over the back bedroom, with its own bathroom, and we took the front master bedroom. All the beds were comfortable with no issues falling asleep. This trip we saw a lot of wildlife from the balcony overlooking the Atlantic and the waterway to Vaca Cut or while we swam. Several manatees swam by feeding in the shallow waters going in both directions and we encountered one snorkeling at Bahai Honda Beach. We saw nurse sharks at the beach directly in front of the condo at low tide. And for the first time in Marathon, we saw Eagle Rays too. You’ll also notice the many small and feisty Curly-Tailed Lizards and green iguanas roaming the property. If you’re looking for dining suggestions, don’t hesitate to try Florida Keys Steak and Lobster House (great prime rib and reservations highly recommended – ask for Bob to be your server), Key Colony Inn Restaurant & Lounge, Sparky’s Landing, Island Fish Company, Driftwood Pizza, Pasta and Subs, and Keys Fisheries. We also dined in and cooked at the condo. Our go to Florida grocery store is Publix, and in particular for their lunch meats, fried chicken, and bakery. Summer excursions to Key West are very hot during the day and you must make at least one evening visit for dinner with the much cooler temps. If you like informal outdoor dining with live music, try Schooner Wharf Bar. We like using the City of Key West Old Town Garage at 300 Grinnell Street with a short walk to the Key West Historic Seaport and Duval Street. There’s also a free bus which allows hop on, hop off at 18 stops around Key West, the Duval Loop Bus. The little things matter to us such as a clean condo, covered parking, the relaxed slower pace at Key Colony Point, and an adult beverage at sunset. Highly recommend this condo and would return again.

Wonderful week, beautiful location!

The condo was beautiful and the view is absolutely stunning. Sitting on the private balcony and watching the sunset was the perfect way to end our days. The pool was very nice and we loved loved loved the private little beach! We hope to come back to the Key's in the future and wouldn't hesitate for a moment to stay here again.
