We enjoyed everything offered. The only thing we wished they had were TV trays to use as side tables. We worked while visiting and used the dining table as our work area. We will definitely stay again.

This would be a 5 star except for the shower and shower door. Ocean view, Well stocked. Comfortable. A plus is the elevator and shopping carts to transport small luggage, groceries, any heavy item.

Lovely, comfortable & so close to the beach

This was super comfortable, very clean and we appreciated the amenities and gorgeous view of sunsets. Beds were great, enjoyed the pool. Would love to return.

Sunset Views

Lovely apartment with a well stocked kitchen. Directly across the street from the beach. Sunset views every evening. Apartment was clean with lots of storage space for your things and access to beach equipment, which I did not use but it is a great amenity.

Can’t wait to return

Great location with beautiful beach access just across the street, restaurants and shopping within walking distance and a great local Farmers Market Wednesday mornings next door. You fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The unit was clean, spacious, and we loved that there was a bathroom attached to each room. The beds were comfortable, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating our meals on the lanai or at the dining table in the A/C. Both had ocean views.

Amazing View!!!

Karen and Joe are fantastic hosts. They were prompt with answering all questions and so thoughtful in every way. We came with as a family of 4 with our 2 teenage daughters. We enjoyed our mornings and evening on the Lanai, having breakfast, playing cards and watching the whales. Just amazing! The condo was very clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were super comfy. The condo is in a great location across from Kam III beach. We swam and snorkeled there and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. There is so much within walking distance too. We definitely recommend the cinnamon roll place, and Paia Fish market, soo good! I would highly recommend staying here. I know we will again when we return one day. Thank you, Karen and Joe, for your amazing hospitality and thoughtfulness, especially with Larrys birthday and on our departure day. We are so appreciative of everything! Mahalo!!

Amazing Place to Stay in Kihei!

We loved staying in this condo with lovely ocean views from the lanai and the rest of the unit too. We watched the sunset every night and saw lots of whales! It's right across the street from a great beach and in walking distance to several other beaches. It's also in walking distance to shops and restaurants. The location can't be beat. The condo itself is clean and well maintained. It is wonderfully equipped. If you want to cook, you'll have everything you need in the kitchen. That extends to the rest of the place too - plenty of pillows, towels, etc. The beds are both very comfortable (including the pull out). There are books, games, binoculars for the whale watching. If you are looking for something, it will most likely be there! Karen and Joe are great hosts - very responsive and provide great customer service. They also provide lots of helpful information about the condo and the local area in a handy binder. There are so many nice touches, I'm sure I'm even forgetting to mention something! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for your stay on Maui.

Lovely property, spectacular ocean view

The property was perfect in every way for our family of four. Clean, well provisioned, and incredibly thoughtful touches added by Karen, who is an extraordinary host. Directly across from a great beach and a very short walk to restaurants and shopping. Sweeping ocean views and every comfort you could imagine. Karen has lots of solutions and local knowledge to offer as well.

Great location and the stay made our Christmas wonderful! Karen went out of her way to ensure our check in process was smooth and even had decorated the place for Christmas, just lovely. Also, this was the perfect location for all of our activities!

Amazingly equipped, great location

The host gave detailed instructions on the Check in and parking process, and included suggestions of things to do and places to eat at. The apartment is exactly as pictured. So we didn’t have any surprises. The kitchen is so well equipped!! Rice cooker, coffee maker including a Kurig and other we didn’t use. We appreciated that the hosts had plenty of initial supplies like bathing soap, dishwashing liquid and hand washing soap, detergent etc. There was also coffee and some other unopened grocery items we used. Lots of utensils, tuppaware, glasses and cups! Though the hosts were out of town on. a cruise, Karen responded as best as she could if we had questions. We also got accommodated for a late checkout, after she checked the housekeeper’s cleaning schedule. This was great customer service. The beach is right across the street. This was the best part. Also, kids and us snorkeled here to see beautiful fishes. This apartment faces the ocean and is the closest one in the building, right next to the grassy area by the street. It’s not noisy or anything. Lovely neighbors too. Great experience. Safeway is 2 miles away. We walked to general stores and snorkeling rental places, restaurants.

A wonderful condo

The condo is perfectly located to access Kameole 3 (across the street) and 2 (a short block away) and the views of all the activity at the park and the ocean made for great early morning coffee on the lanai. The condo is so well equipped that you feel like the owners live there and just loaned it to you for your stay. We loved it!

Immaculate, Beach Front, & Spacious Condo

Wow! Wow! Beautiful condo with an amazing view! Our family was so impressed with Karen & Joe’s A-302 condo. This unit has a spectacular beach view with a sizable balcony to take in the beautiful sunset. Additionally the condo is very spacious with 3 large comfortable lay-Z-boy recline chairs, which was a perfect touch to elevating our tired legs. I must say… my back is very picky with the type of mattresses I sleep on and I was extremely pleased with the king size bed in the master bedroom. It was as comfortable as my bed at home. Karen has added many extras in the kitchen which made preparing our meals easy. The condo’s location was perfect for our needs as local shops, restaurants and a grocery store were nearby. This spectacular unit is definitely one that we will be booking again for our next trip to Maui!

Awesome condo in a great location

This was our 5th time staying in the Haleakala Shores complex, and our first time in A302. It's a great, spacious condo, fully equipped with anything you might need, and very clean and comfortable! Being right across from the beach is *fabulous* (we saw turtles when we snorkeled there) and we loved having the ocean view. The saltwater pool in the complex was great (we'd never been in one, its MUCH nicer to swim in than a chlorinated pool), and we enjoyed BBQing by the pool deck. We loved sitting on the lanai, having coffee in the morning or cocktails at sunset. Joe and Karen were lovely hosts, and very responsive to questions and requests before and during our stay. A 5-out-of-5 stay, we hope to make it back there soon!

Perfect unit located across the street from the beach (the kids and I loved that!). Unit included beach items, and house and bathroom appliances. The beds were very comfortable!! The area was quiet, and just a short 3-6 minute walk from several stores, food trucks, ice cream/shaved ice, and restaurants. THANK YOU FOR HAVING US!

This is our first trip to Maui and it was absolutely the best trip ever. Upon arrive to the rental Karen greeted us with a welcoming smile and offered assistance with anything we needed. She was just a door down from us which is convenient. The condo is very well kept, spacious and has a great view of the ocean. Everything you need is there, washer/dryer, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, many types of coffee makers and other appliances. Dinnerware and silverware, cups, cookware is all provided. I can't wait to come visit again soon. Mahalo!

Incredible space and location

Everything was clean, organized and welcoming. A great space for families and spacious for a comfortable vacation. The condo is centrally located and great access to the beach. It was also a great perk to wake up to the ocean view.

All the things you'd expect from renting a condo. Very clean, welcoming and comfortable. The bed was great, the owner was wonderful, the view was what you want in Maui. Great location for shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great trip

My wife and I had a great trip with another couple staying here. It has a great view of the ocean, is in a perfect spot for access to stores or other fun activities. In addition Joe and Karen were very responsive with anything we needed.
