Overall - Good
Overall, a good stay. Friendly staff and good food. There is a weird, quite load humming/droning noise outside room 2 which would benefit investigation as it was quite annoying when trying to sleep.

Lovely family run B&B, everyone was so friendly and attentive nothing was to much trouble, food was excellent and good value. Would recommend and We will be staying again next time we are in the are.

Lovely stay in Kingsbridge
Lovely location and the Inn is in a lovely setting. Plenty of parking, clean, comfortable room and lovely breakfast.

If you want a quiet, friendly local inn then this is the place. Located in a picturesque hamlet it offers comfortable rooms, both clean and spacious enough; breakfast was excellent and the bar is very welcoming. I really enjoyed our 2 day stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Short break away.
We arrived early and Linda and John kindly let us leave our bag while we went off for the afternoon. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and had everything you need. I'm only 5.4" and wear contact lenses, I found the mirrors were difficult to see into, either on tiptoe leaning over the sink or not in the bathroom. The bathroom was very small with no room to put anything. The shower was really powerful but very hot (scalding), we needed to set it to cold and then get it gradually warmer. The weather was hot and there was a fan in the room, which really helped. On the whole, we had a lovely break away, the food was mostly good and staff were all very friendly. We had a lovely couple of days away. The Inn is close to the beaches and town.

Friendly staff, great service
Very friendly staff who accommodated our special request for a slightly earlier check-in - Very nice breakfast and choices, as well as a nice bar with a very good menu and ample portion size. It's about a 20 minute drive from Salcombe, but very convenient if you have a car. Would be very happy to stay there again.

No frills accom, excellent evening meal,
Slightly ‘no frills’ accommodation, but ‘did exactly what it said on the tin’. Ate in the bar in the evening- excellent food. Such a shame that, even though all of us (8 in all) were staying in the pub, our evening finished abruptly at 10.30pm as we were informed the staff were all going home. One of the reasons we all booked to stay there overnight was so that we could relax and have a drink without having to drive anywhere. To completely shut up shop at 10.30pm on a Saturday night, when we were residents, was disappointing

Lovely
Was a lovely experience - even if driving there down the Devon roads was not! Clean, tidy and large room. Plenty of space to get ready for our friends wedding. Had dinner at their pub restaurant the night we arrived and highly recommend the food. Staff were friendly.

After a long drive a lovely rest.
Very surprised to see how well kept the Hotel was smart staircase, clean room, ideal on-suite, quiet, very restful sleep. Breakfast resolved my special request instantly.

Good privately run inn
A really good base for this pretty part of the South Devon coast. Helpful pleasant host friendly efficient staff. Small but clean room with comfortable bed. Good restaurant for evening meal and excellent fresh cooked breakfast

Lovely b&b in a beautiful spot
We stayed for a couple of nights. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The showers were amazing, the best we've ever experienced in a b&b. We would definitely stay again. Our only recommendation would be that the owners should probably look at putting a vegetarian option on the breakfast menu.

Friendly staff and good service. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent with great choice for vegetarians. Room was clean and any further requests for tea, coffee, milk were quickly provided. We would definitely stay again.

A great time
The staff were absolutely lovely and the pub/ restaurant downstairs is fabulous. The food was great. While the room was fairly small it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Shower was brilliant with heat and water pressure and the staff really made the whole place great.

I’d go back just for the food!
Nice little pub with dog friendly rooms and bar area. The food here was amazing! Service was great and prices very reasonable. My only issue would be that there was quite a lot of dust/cobwebs around the top of the room. Overall though, a great trip and would book again.

When we arrived we were greeted politely by a very friendly young lady who was most helpful. The rooms were as described clean and comfortable. However the older lady who served our breakfast was Really rude when we asked for vegetarian breakfast or if there was any available she just looked at us and stated “no”!! With a grumpy face. After a minute she tried to correct herself and said I don’t think we have any vegetarian sausages and then mumbled something indecipherable! When my mother asked for some coffee she said it’s over there get someone else to get it for you !! Unbelievable we couldn’t believe her. Then a man came over to our table who we think was the owner and politely asked us about our visit etc the rude waitress suddenly appeared next to him with a complete personality change... she started to do her job properly and was trying to be polite in front of the owner !!!!! What a shame because other than her rudeness we were very happy with our stay.
