« The property was under a remodel and we were completely unaware. Some of the lights in the room did not work and the shower head leaked. There were holes in the floorboards and several floorboards felt like they would fall through. We had to walk around spots on the floorboards to avoid the sensation of possibly falling through. We stayed in 3 different premier hotels and this one was stand alone horrible. Thankfully we checked in late and left at dawn. Fan in the bathroom did not work either....

« Absolute gem of a location. Room was the most functional we've encountered in the UK in years...water was hot quickly and didn't vary, bed was perfect and the view was amazing (picture frame of the bridges over the Forth). Staff was also very attentive, friendly and keen to help at every turn. To round off this stay, the breakfasts and dinners were also first rate! Highly recommend the Orroco. »

Bon repas. »

« We chose to stay a night here based on reviews of 9/10. We arrived to a man standing smoking in the doorway and a rather run down looking building - not a great start! The man who booked us in was helpful and friendly but unfortunately the property is sadly in need of some TLC. The carpet on the stairs to the rooms needs a good deep clean and the skirting boards were full of dust. Our room faced the street and there was constant loud traffic noise. The room itself was too small to even open...
