„Whidbey House was a lovely property. A real home from home. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the visits from the deer and rabbits. Rick was very responsive with a couple of queries that we had. Freeland was a great base for exploring Whidbey Island, explore off the beaten track a little and you will find some real gems, we can recommend Island Art Glass, for some beautiful glass work. If we were staying in the area again, we would love to return to Whidbey House.“

„Beautiful house with a comfortable feel of home. Incredible upscale appliances and cookware in the kitchen that was stocked with plenty of cooking essentials to make meal prep easy. House was very clean on arrival and the thoughtful and intentional decor gave the home a historical heartbeat. The host was friendly, helpful, accessible, and reached out several times to ensure we didn’t have any other needs. Thank you Roland!“

„Owners were very communicative, easy to work with, and everything worked as they said. College buddy and I used it as a place to crash in between golf rounds at Dungeness, White Horse, and Port Ludlow. Location was quiet, accommodations were comfortable, and it had everything we wanted/needed. The beach view/access was great and we even caught some red crab off the rocks down the beach by the campsite with a crab snare (didn’t keep them though). „The place is overall very nice and we had a good stay. The 3rd floor experienced a temporary electricity and Wi-Fi outage, but this was not the owner’s fault and beyond their control. They promptly emailed us with clear guidance to resolve the issue, which we really appreciated. My only suggestion would be for the owner to update the main contact email on Expedia (or other platforms) to the one they actively use, since emails sent to the Expedia address did not get a reply, while the app email ...

„We really enjoyed our stay at Phinneywood Basement Hideaway. We slept very well. The property was easy to access and the rental was well equipped with kitchen items for cooking at home, and had plenty of bathroom accessories (towels & toilet paper). It was well lit at night and best of all, it was very affordable for our six-day stay. We hope to be back!“

"Das Hotel überzeugt mit moderner und stylischer Ausstattung. Das Zimmer ist eher klein aber fein! Sechste Etage mit dem Blick auf Downtown! Gute Lage zur City, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fußzu erreichen. Lobby und Bar sind gediegen eingerichtet und laden zum Verweilen ein. Beim nächsten Mal in Seattle wieder gerne hier!"

"Die Unterkunft an sich ist Super, top Service , sauberes Zimmer, Parkhaus direkt nebenan 45$/24h , aber , die angrenzende Bar die Teil des Hotels ist katastrophal, uns wurde keine letzte Runde angekündigt , als wir einen Longdrink bestellen wollten wurde uns gesagt nur shots möglich , diesen habe ich bestellt und in meine Cola gemischt , darauf hin wurde mir beides weggenommen und die Rechnung presentiert , meiner Freundin wurde nach weiteren 5 min ihr Wasser weg genommen mit der Aussage wir schließen jetzt. BTW jede andere Person in der Bar hatte noch Drinks , sogar teilweise mehrere….. schon ziemlich dreist "
