« First of all, an absolutely lovely location overlooking an inlet leading to Palmico Sound. The owner gave great directions in advance of our arrival, and we found a clean, well-appointed house that made for a wonderful vacation spot. The owner was super-responsive to any communications and worked hard to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I’d definitely stay again! »

« Everything you need to have an enjoyable stay on Hatteras Island. We were three groups of friends and the house had everything, comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped and lots of things to do. The pool table was a big hit. »

« Great location, loved being on the beach. House in desperate need of upkeep. Most important lots of steps, we are in our 70’s, we had no problem doing steps, it was just getting our luggage and food up all the steps!! Either only pack really light weight bags or get place fewer steps. The view was amazing, sunrises were spectacular, but as expected being on the ocean in salt water everything in rough shape. Easy dealing with and being able to contact host, responded quickly. Loved the area… »

« The porch overlooking the water was fantastic. The kitchen needs updated cookware and silverware but had the essentials. »

« The upstairs was lovely and a great space for gathering. The house is close to the beach so big points there. The bedrooms were fine - very nice to have 3 bathrooms downstairs. One of the sliding glass doors on the top floor would not open; the trash can needs to be fixed so it can be opened with the foot pedal. Inconviences were that no linens were provided and no toilet paper or paper towels or garbage bags. I have never encountered this before and I did not notice it on the initial...
