Maison de vacances au calme, au pied des montagnes de Mols

It’s quiet and peaceful here. The vacation home is located at the foot of Mols Bjerge National Park, and the natural surroundings are a natural extension of the property: fields, wildlife, and a private gravel road that leads down to the water and the view of Aarhus. In the morning, you can watch the sun rise in the east and spot hares and pheasants in the fields.



The home is modern and newly built, with a focus on functionality and comfort. High ceilings and skylights offer views of the sky and bring a sense of openness to the rooms. The open kitchen flows into the living room, and the sofa is the perfect spot to settle in with a book or a board game while dinner is being prepared.



The hosts have created a private trail through the clover fields toward the haystacks and on into the National Park. From the top of the upper field, there’s a panoramic view of Kalø Bay, Skødshoved, and Aarhus, and here you can sit undisturbed on a homemade bench and enjoy the sunset.



The National Park offers hiking and biking trails as well as a rich variety of wildlife, including rare butterflies, birds of prey, and wild berries. The hosts highly recommend their favorite sourdough bakery nearby and the Go’ Kaffe café in Ebeltoft. One of Denmark’s most child-friendly beaches is located in the area, and down the road, local artists have come together to run a shared art shop.
