I have to offer a mixed review for this property. Many amenities and the space was well organized. Nice welcome gifts and snacks. Good communications from Vacasa. Lots of sports equipment and towels. Good to have access to the Bach Athletic Club. Convenient parking. On the other hand, the space is dated. Needs upgrades to kitchen and bath. View from lanai is a big, brightly lit parking lot. Living room lamps never worked. Poor TV sound. This unit is not the farthest from the beach, but it almost is.

Amazing Location, Amazing Place

Our stay at Kiahuna Plantation was amazing! The access to Poipu Beach Athletic Club across the road was perfect after we'd tuckered ourselves out at the beach and needed some poolside relaxation. Little Fish Coffee across the road was excellent for coffee Acai bowls, and Keoki's Paradise was incredible for dinner. The condo was peaceful, quiet, had great A/C and was the perfect amount of space for our family of three. Highly recommend!

Overall a nice stay!

We have stayed at many units in the Kiahuna plantation, and it’s our favorite place to be in Kauai. The grounds are beautiful, walking distance to our favorite beaches, and the Poipu beach athletic club is great for the kids. This condo was nice and clean, not super updated but this doesn’t really matter to us. It is far in the back of the complex, so a longer walk to the beach than the others we have stayed at. Overall, we still had a lovely stay!

The unit is pretty dated, and doesnt have AC. So on the days when it's humid, if you're not use to a humid environment, it will be pretty uncomfortable to stay and sleep in. With that said, it was quite and had a gorgeous view. Parking was another thing that was an inconvenience. Not enough spaces for each unit, so each night it was a gamble if we could find a spot or not and if we would fit. We had a mid size suv and barely fit in the spots.

The blankets that were given smelt like urine and when we stripped the sheets off of the bed the bed was covered in pee stains. The location did not properly represent where the condo was located on site and we had to walk pretty far to the beach compared to what it had shown.

Pictures dint fully show problems with cobdo

There was a foul pervasive odor in the condo. Maybe urine? It was a problem. Bathroom sorely in need of updating. Tub stained, rusty tracks for shower door, toilet so low to ground hard for full grown person to use comfortably. Towel situation very inconvenient. Have to ask by certain day or you don’t get replacements. Needed tissues, storage baggies would be nice. Also, trash and recycling bins had very foul smell that wafted to our front of condo. Last, the remote control for the fan in LR and BR worked for both rooms. So if fan on in LR it was on in BR. Very annoying. Would not stay here again

We had a wonderful stay at the property. It is well equipped with the essentials and the extras, such as coolers and beach chairs, were a bonus! The shower needs a bit of updating, but was clean and functional. The bed is soooooo comfortable! We will be back!

This condo was great! First, it’s in building 42, this will come in handy when trying to locate it. It’s within walking distance to several eateries, coffee!, local shows, and the shuttle stop. The shuttle was also great for getting to Old Koloa Town where there’s a grocery store and more local shops. This condo is also within walking distance to three beaches. Shop to your hearts content, eat whatever, and walk it all off. Wonderful trip, highly recommend!

Anniversary trip

This was our 9th anniversary. I own a vacation rental in NW Montana so I am reviewing this property based on my expectation. First - it was very clean. The beach accessories were great! The bedroom was nice and the bed comfortable. The living room and dining room were also comfortable. During the day, the patio was ok however, the light at night was a white light wall and zero ambience so we did not use it at night. The service area for a big hotel is also directly across from the patio and through the hedge. We heard lots of noise including beeping from service vehicles -- not very relaxing. The bathroom was extremely dated and dingy. The faucet for the shower spun without stopping so finding warm water was difficult. The shower needs updating desperately as it looked dirty due to old age. We did not receive any directions to the condo and had to ask other people were to find the building. The specific directions after turning on the property as to the location could have easily been given by Vacasa in the text. The biggest disappointment-- this is NOT a beach access condo. You have to walk well over 1/2 mile on streets and paths to get to the beach which is downhill. NOT easy with beach bags, chairs, cooler and in flip flops. Worse is the walk back up to the condo as it is a significant hill. Thankfully, we had a car and drove to the public beach every day to save our backs. Most likely will not stay here again.

Peaceful stay

Great location, quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Very clean. Great kitchen and cooking tools although I didn't use much. Downside: They change towels only on Wednesday and Thursday if you're staying for five nights or longer, and you have to call the day before. I got only four for seven nights.
