The property is great with a little view of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay here. The property was nice and had everything we needed. If you book this room, keep in mind you are next to the main road so there is traffic noise and we had a few roosters at night.

Perfect for the price

For an inexpensive property, this was great! The room was clean, comfortable, private, and very close to the beach, dining, and shopping. My only gripes are that there was a lot of loud tree-cutting happening during the early afternoon every day and the windows are just shuttered screens so you can hear everything going on outside and vice versa. But for an inexpensive place so close to Poipu beach, it was fantastic.

The chicken is very noisy everyday around 4am-8am, and the traffic noise is always. But the house is clean with usable beach gears. The location is good, close to little fish Cafe and poipu beach.

Short but sweet stay at Kiahuna Plantation

I was on the island for business but had ample time to enjoy the beautifully manicured grounds of Kiahuna Plantation. It is really a must stay location as all that Poipu Beach has to offer is within steps. I played a most relaxing 18 holes of golf with a local retiree at the Kiahuna Planation golf course. That's a gem too. Along with many excellent food options near by KP is a tremendous place to relax and enjoy the fabulous Hawaiian weather. I have already made plans to go back.

Food across the street. Beach nearby. Beach accessories in the unit: folding chairs, mask/snorkels, sand toys for kids . Environmental audio sleep machine. Free parking. Large shade trees. Quiet. Enjoyed the complimentary gym/pool across the street.

It was a short walk to the beautiful beach. The Sheraton had a wonderful restaurant where we had breakfast at the beach! The location in Poipu is super convenient with shops and restaurants close by. Our unit was a bit dated but still worked well for our occasion. The handle to turn the shower on was broken and the bathtub could have looked better but hey, we were in Kauai so who could complain. Communication was excellent and appreciated. We would stay here again but maybe try a different unit next time.

Plumbing Problems in Paradise

Shower obviously in need of repair would not turn off. Three days could not shower had to use public shower at the pool.YOU NEED to have plumbing repaired (updated) before next renter arrives!!!

Hospitable Condo with good space

This unit is at the very back of the property (by Poipu Rd) but it still has a beautiful garden view and you can see the ocean. I was very impressed by the welcome package, but disappointed with the bathtub- it was stained (but likely clean) and the hot water was hard to manipulate. There are windows/walls that aren’t solid and the roosters can be loud! But there was a white noise machine and an oscillating fan. Overall, it was a clean, spacious unit and worked well for my needs. Note: Make sure you put the parking pass on your dashboard. I got a parking citation threatening to tow, because I had the pass hanging on the mirror.

Stay at Kiahuna Plantation 325

Property was cleaned but taking under consideration that all décor and furniture is original (build approx. 1980, 40 years old) didn't not look sufficient. Carpet in living room was very dirty, outside of fridge and oven are rusted also two electric burners were not working. Light fixture in bathroom was changed probably 20 years ago estimating by amount of dust and construction debris accumulated in it! Bathtub was refinished (repainted) but it was long time ago and paint is already peeling off from the original finish. There is no pool/hot tub on the property! you have access to Kihuana Golf Club but this is rather driving distance (approx. 1 mile) or walking 13 min using street. This is secluded corner unit and view from the balcony is very nice (at cactus park) and short and pleasant (4 min) walk to the beach.

The location of the unit was the farthest from the water possible. The maintenance of the unit was not up to par. The carpet is old an separating, shower bar is rusty. The security staff was indifferent, checkin was a nightmare!

Kauai trip

Got the keys easily at Little Fish. The condo was really run down- and right on the end of the property next to the kiave forest- so lots of roosters! The plants on the side were not well maintained- a bunch had been chopped and just left there. The bathroom was moldy and the door was peeling. The dining room chairs were also moldy. On the Lanai the furniture was dirty- as was the carpet in the living room. They offered to clean it but I said no as I didn’t want an interruption to the trip. Kitchen was fine and I appreciated the gifts on the table! I would have really loved to be offered a different unit but it didn’t happen. They gave me earplugs instead. When I asked for more towels they came right away! Mahalo! We will be back to Kauai- I try to come every year, but not back to this unit.

Kiahuna Plantation 325

The Kiahuna Plantation is a lovely resort with beautiful grounds and a nice beach. Our unit came with beach chairs, cooler and an umbrella everything we needed for the beach. A short walk to the Poipu Village shopping area and a short walk to the fitness club that included a pool, gym, tennis courts and a nice restaurant. Our unit was close to the road at the back of the resort so there was some traffic noise -though the main noise at night was from those crazy roosters that wander around crowing but that is everywhere on Kauai from what we can tell. The kitchen in the unit was well equipped , missing a few basics but nothing that prevented us from having breakfast and lunch. We ate out for dinner most nights. There are barbecues all around which we used once - my husband said they were spotless!! I will say the unit could use a coat of paint and a bit of sprucing up particularly the bathroom which did have some mould around the tub. I understand there will be some painting happening around the resort in April so this will probably be a non issue in the future. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Kauai Condo

The property is very nice, but our unit was next to the road and so there was quite a bit of highway noise. The unit has not been well maintained. It is careworn and the dishwasher did not work, the toilet had to be repaired, and the electronic lock on the front door stopped working. The beach was great and the grounds are beautiful.

Poor condition

The condominium was in very poor condition. The carpet was all ripped up which they did come to cut and said yes, it needs to be replaced. The refrigerator next to the stove was splattered with food. The bathtub is in very poor condition. This owner needs to do some overhauls on this unit before renting again. I would never rent this unit again.
