The apartment has one bedroom with a king-size bed and one bathroom. The open kitchen connects directly to the living room and features built-in appliances and a breakfast bar. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker, kettle, and an ice maker. Outside, a private garden and covered veranda invite you to relax in the breeze. The jacuzzi completes the outdoor space perfectly.

Good to know:

- No swimming pool: Kas Cocita does not have a pool, but the jacuzzi in the private garden is a great way to cool off and relax. Isidel Beach Park is also just 1.5 kilometers away.

- No dryer: There is no clothes dryer, but on Bonaire the combination of sun and constant trade winds means your laundry dries outdoors in no time, often within just a few hours.

- No A/C in the living room: The bedroom has air conditioning for a comfortable night's sleep. In the living room, a ceiling fan and the breeze from the covered veranda keep things pleasantly cool.



Guest Access:

As a guest of Kas Cocita, you have full use of the entire apartment: the bedroom with king-size bed, the bathroom, the open living and dining area, the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, the private garden with jacuzzi, and the covered veranda. Parking is available both on the premises and on the street, free of charge and always close by. To give our guests a warm welcome and share everything they need to know about the property and our beautiful island, all arrivals are handled personally. The Sunwise hosts for Kas Cocita will coordinate your arrival time with you in advance.



The Neighborhood:

Kas Cocita is located in Sur Salinja, a quiet and leafy residential neighborhood just outside the center of Kralendijk. The area has a relaxed character and is popular with both locals and vacationers looking for some peace and quiet while staying close to all the amenities of the city. Sur Salinja is conveniently situated near the coast, with Isidel Beach Park and several dive sites within easy reach. The neighborhood is spacious, green, and relatively calm, a wonderful place to come home to after an active day on the water.



Kas Cocita is approximately 1.6 kilometers from Top Supermarket, 750 meters from Dive Friends Yellow Submarine dive center, 1.5 kilometers from Isidel Beach Park, 1.3 kilometers from the center of Kralendijk and 1.3 kilometers from It Rains Fishes restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: A must-visit spot nearby is Atlantis Kitebeach, one of Bonaire's most well-known kitesurfing locations. The beach is situated in the south of the island and is famous for its consistent offshore wind, making it a challenging yet highly popular destination for experienced kitesurfers. The wind blows reliably day after day, creating predictable and exciting conditions on the water. Even if you're not into kitesurfing yourself, it's a spectacular place to watch colorful kites fill the sky above the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Bring a drink, find a spot on the shore, and enjoy the show.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Kas Cocita. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Kas Cocita is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down at night. Enjoy your stay at Kas Cocita!
