« The Tuscan promotion is no idle exaggeration in terms of interior decorating and exterior, sculpted hedges... Tuscany with views of kangaroos. Well-appointed and equipped kitchen and lounge area, good local provisions, galleries and shopping close by. A heater in the shower area would be useful but great hot water system. Easy access and thoughtful host. I enjoyed my stay. »

« Great location. Clean. Wasn’t a fan of having to pull out microwave plug or kettle to plug in toaster. Found it rather odd that these appliances were more than close to the sink and awarded to get to. The cottage probably would be perfect for a young couple. Older people would prefer privacy when showering. »

« Lucini cottage is one of a small group of cottages set in secluded street just off the main road in Hepburn. All I can say, is WOW, what a gorgeous and welcoming place. We arrived on a very cold night and after a long drive we appreciated that the lights and gas log fire place were on to greet us. Beautifully decorated and very cozy and only few minutes drive to Daylesford town centre. »

« We absolutely loved our stay at Macedon Ranges Views. Ian and Ruth were absolutely lovely and made us feel most welcome. The view was just spectacular. The house was clean and had everything we needed as well as a 2L bottle of milk which was so thoughtful indeed. The beds were really comfy and warm. We will definitely be back again! »

« The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay. »

« This cottage ticked all the boxes for us -comfortable, well-furnished, and cute as a button. The bedroom has good bedside lamps for reading and we slept well. The kitchen and living space are well designed and attractively styled. The air-con cools the house nicely, and the fireplace looks very inviting for the winter months. But lovely as the interior is, our favourite spot was the front porch with its sunny aspect and restful view of trees. Hard to say who liked it more - us or our kelpie....

« Novella and Bob were wonderful hosts and very thoughtful which helped us settle us very quickly. As this was winter time we appreciated the fire already alight and even the electric blanket was on. Little extras in the fridge for us to enjoy we appreciated. Bed we found very comfortable. We will not hesitate to tell others of this special place and we will go again. »

« We had a great stay at the property, it was exactly what we needed! The property is conveniently located being so close to town (walking distance). The kids loved their bedroom, the games provided, and the Easter treats were a very sweet touch. The whole house was very comfortable and plenty of amenities. Would love to stay again. »

« Adorable Lucys Cottage was a perfect place to stay during the crisp Melbourne Winter! Warm and cosy homestay that had everything we needed. My 92 year old grandfather accompanied me and we had great access through the back door...no steps inside and a shower that he could easily access. Also really practical having 2 toilets.. Lovely Lucys Cottage with sweet charm from the past...a trip down memory lane for Pop! »
