Villa conforme à l'annonce. Dommage pour l'attente à notre arrivée pour la remise des clés

La villa est propre et agreable. La climatisation est vraiment un plus meme si assez bruyante. Etant donné la proximité avec les voisins, il serait bien de soigner les barrieres d'isolation : plus d'arbustes pour preserver l'intimite.

1er séjour à l’Ametlla et vraiment apprécié le calme de cette petite station balnéaire. La villa située idéalement par rapport à la plage. Grand merci à l’équipe de Family Villas pour son accueil et son écoute tout au long de notre séjour. A souligner et à recommander.

The property was exactly as described. The pool was lovely and we were able to go to two beaches fairly close. Ther was some noise from close neighbours-childrenthrowing basket balls at weekend but during the weekdays it was quiet. Guests should be advised to bring their own beach towels and toiletries. It would be preferable to have more than one bath towel per person as our stay was for 5days. We checked out on time and was at the office by 10.05am but no one was in attendance so the keys were put on the key box.

Buena casa con piscina, muy limpia

Ubicada en una urbanización bien comunicada. La casa estaba muy limpia, es espaciosa y con los utensilios de cocina bastante nuevos. La piscina algo pequeña, pero más que suficiente para una familia con 3 niños pequeños. Aire acondicionado en todas las estancias. No tiene cafetera nespresso, es americana. La agencia que gestiona el alquiler, Family Villas, es muy sera y responde con rapidez a las pequeñas incidencias. Casa muy recomendable.

Decepcionante

Con el precio que tiene nos encontramos con varias sorpresas. La trona que me dejaron para mi bebé no había sido limpiada nunca, menos mal que encontramos otra, una de ikea que nos salvó. Los aires acondicionados hacían un ruido horrible, toda la noche con el traqueteo infernal. Las puertas del jardín y de acceso a la villa no cerraban, la tv solo configurada en alemán y nos dijeron que no se podía hacer nada, que era así. Intenté comunicarme 2 veces y la primera me dijeron que ese número era solo para emergencias (queríamos una segunda copia de las llaves, ya que sino no podíamos salir por separado, y que nos explicaran lo de la tv y La Luz de la piscina). Al final vinieron pero no me gustó nada esa contestación, como si les estuviera molestando....y la segunda vez, avisando de que la cafetera no funcionaba y nos hacía saltar los plomos de La Luz, ni me respondieron.

Excellent location for beach

We had an excellent holiday at Villa Avondale. It was just what we were looking for, a nice modern, well presented villa with a lovely private pool close to the beach. The beach is stunning, a lovely cove with golden sand and shallow waters. We were very happy to arrive to the villa and find it very clean, and with a few essential items. The whole family enjoyed our stay, we enjoyed the villa, and the area, and the service we received from Familyvillarentals.com. We would like to come back again and spend more than a week this time to see more of the area.

Returning 2017

Villa Avondale had everything my wife and I, and the children could imagine and much more. We made the long trip all of the way from Washington DC (USA) and it was worth every cent after the very long flight. The villa is in amazing shape and has everything you need. The management company were very helpful, and even managed to check us in early, which was fantastic since we had been travelling for over 24hours. They were very informative about the local area and the villa facilities. They were available for anything we needed and questions we had throughout our stay. The location is great and very close to the local beach only 10 minutes away by foot. And we enjoyed the port town L'Ametlla Del Mar, and also found it an easy drive to major cities like Tarragona and Barcelona. We rarely return to the same place, but this area of Spain has so much to offer, and so much we didn’t have time to see, we didn’t even get to the theme park Portaventura, so we have booked again, see you next year!

Nice Villa with some minus poits

The villa although very nice & well equipped, could not be classed as 3 double bedrooms, the third bedroom is very small with only a drawer unit for storage, the double bed is against the wall in order that the door can be opened. On arrival at the office for check in, we had to queue outside for 30 mins under a small roof overhang, not an ideal arrangement on a very hot August afternoon. Then another wait for someone to take us to the villa to just open the door, not giving us any information regarding the property, we were there 2 days before we found the Utility Room at the back of the villa. It was not possible to use the TV as there wasn't a signal. The walk to the beach is nearer 20mins, along a road that leads through a tunnel, which is quite hazardous especially with young children, as there isn't a pavement.

Zeer nette villa/ very lovely villa

When we arrived the administrator of the house recieved us very warmfully and showen us to our holiday villa. The villa was exactly like the picturs. The bedroom and beds where very comfortable and nice. The kitchen is very complete so you can Cook there if you want, we only visite the local restaurants. our stay was excellent and we can advies you to boog this villa and have a nice holiday. When possible we will come back to for a next holiday. Deze villa is precies zoals de foto's. De beheerder ontving ons keurig en bracht ons naar de prachtige woning. De slaapkamers en bedden waten prima en ook de badkamers en keuken zijn volledig. Je kan er zeker koken, maar wij hebben gekozen om in de restaurantjes in de buurt te eten. We kunnen iedereen adviseren om deze woning te huren voor een geweldige vakantie. Wij komen in de toekomst nog graag terug.

We highly recommend Villa Avondale

We highly recommend Villa Avondale. We when arrived the villa was very clean and fresh smelling. The villa is furnished well and with modern well maintained fixtures and fittings. The garden and pool were lovely and peaceful, and the beach nearby was lovely too, even in July it wasn’t overcrowded, we liked the beach bar and enjoyed snacks and drinks while the children played in the clear shallow waters. We found the service provided excellent.

Looking forward to our return in 2015

We were 2 families with 7 people in total, we spent the most enjoyable week in this villa in the quiet surroundings and close to the gorgeous beach. The villa has every amenity you could ask for, and is very comfortable. The swimming pool was the centre of attention for the kids, and the beach nearby made it ideal for us. The views from the roof terrace were to die for, the perfect place to chill outside with a glass of wine. There were plenty of good restaurants in L’Ametlla de Mar & one within 15 mins walking distance of the villa. The beach is very good for kids, & pedalos with slide was a lot of fun. Aquapolis was well worth a visit. Finally I can't thank Family Villas enough for their service, communication, helpful advice & knowledge of the area. We are already looking forward to our return in 2015.

This was our first holiday abroad with our family I felt I wanted to talk to someone regarding our visit. The web page was very informative and the pictures looked great. I emailed to ask for some more information about the Avondale villa. This was replied to very quickly. I then spoke to Sara and she put all my worries to bed. We booked the Villa and during the weeks leading up to our holiday, I had many questions and all were answered promptly with lots of information. We arrived at the office (after following lovely clear directions from Reus airport) where we were then shown our villa. WOW!! were the words used by us all! We were blown away by the cleanliness, location and size of the villa. With 3 children lots of space was needed and Avondale certainly gave us this. The pool was fantastic and many hours were spent enjoying this. The walk to the beach and the restaurants were 10 minutes as stated. The villa location felt very safe and the beaches nearby were beautiful. It was reassuring to know that Sara and Martin were on the end of the phone for any questions which needed answering. I can highly recommend them to book your holiday with for their professionalism and care. Our first abroad holiday went fantastic and most definately was helped through the delightfullness of the villa. I shall be using them again in the future. Many thanks, the Norman family xx

Wonderful holiday!

Thank you for helping us to have a wonderful, family holiday. The villa was excellent, cool, beautifully clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our time relaxing by the pool and we appreciated the villa's convenient location and easy access to Port Aventura (our teenagers loved it!) and other lovely places to visit. The family villas staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Can we come and stay again please?

highly recommendable!!!

We would highly recommend this villa if you are staying in this area. Lovely clean & tidy, furnished to a high standard. Lovely quiet area for a chilling holiday although there are several beaches 10 mins away and a lovely fishing villiage about 10 mins by car. Sarah & Martin provided an excellent service and are on hand if you require anything. Would certainly look at booking with them again. Jayne

Something for eveyone at Villa Avondale

We have just returned from a relaxing week at Villa Avondale. The villa itself is spacious, clean and well equipt. The beds very comfortable and the bathrooms excellent. We went with 2 teenagers and a grandmother. The accomodation all being on the same level made thing easy for my mother in law. We all enjoyed the lovely pool which was cleaned twice during our stay (early in the morning so not intrusive). It was a great place to just relax indoors and out. The sunset view from the roof terrace was spectacular. The local area is quiet but it's very easy to get onto the main roads to visit other places. Terragona has some amazing roman ruins, Port Aventura theme park was an action packed day out. The local beaches are wonderful: clean and quiet. You definately need a car here and have to travel some distance to get to a big supermarket' although there are smaller ones near by. We felt there was something for eveyone here, whether you just want a comfortable base or prefer to stay by the pool.

Vacances à Avondale

Nous avons passé 2 semaines très agréables dans cette jolie villa, spatieuse, bien équipée (pour celle qui aime faire des gateaux ou un peu cuisiner, cela manque de plats à gateaux, poêle, verre doseur). La piscine est fort agréable et bien entretenue par Martin, qui sait rester discret et qui est fort sympathique. Le coin est très agrébale, les plages sont très tranquilles et très jolies. De plus, les propriétaires avec qui nous avons échangé par e-mail sont très symapthiques. A recommender.

Perfect peaceful getaway

We have spent remarkable 2 weeks in July. This is the first time we've used "Holiday Rentals" and we haven't lost. The country house has appeared much more the best than in photos. In the house there was all necessary for pleasant rest. Only 1.5 km by the car and you appear on line Valencia-Barcelona. Near to country house are remarkable beach. Many from which carry rank "blue flag" Even in the hottest days on them ????????????. We advise this place, as ideal for silent quiet rest.

La maison est trés agréable et conforme à son descriptif propre et moderne ; piscine et climatisation tres appréciées .l'equipement electro menager est recent et de bonne qualité. La maison se trouve a las tres calas quartier de residences secondaires à 4 kms de l'ametlla et à 1,2 km des plages (une voiture est indispensable) non loin de l'autoroute mais aucune gene sonore . Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cet agréable endroit , 2 couples avec ados (6 personnes au total) qui ont profité de la piscine , des tres belles plages (cala forn) et des restaurants de l'ametlla: Restaurant Pujada (10 € pas cher et bon) et Restaurant le Forum ( plus cher et mieux) .Tarragone tres belle ville vaut une visite .Bonnes vacances

Well recommended. The customer service we received before we went was second to none. Very helpful and responsive to emails and questions. The owners use themselves so good place to stay with excellent inside & outside furniture. It was clean, light and airey with good air conditioning and English TV!!! I would recommend a car, as the local shops/bars not brilliant, but Miami Playa is just a short drive away with lots of eateries and supermarkets. The pool was really clean, and maintained during our stay and wonderful to cool off in. It was nice not having to pack a big pool bag and have to trip out to a pool. Thanks for a well run holiday let!
