Overall my group really enjoyed our stay. The house was a lot of fun, the location was great, and we had everything we needed during our time there. Being so close to the restaurants, stores, and beaches of La Jolla was clutch, and we were easy Uber rides away from downtown San Diego and Del Mar where we enjoyed some concerts and the Fair for my 40th birthday Celebration. There are plenty of places for our group of 16 to sleep which was also clutch, and we enjoyed the communal spaces provided (theatre room, pool, kitchen/dining room, etc.)That said, we did encounter some issues with the house during our time there. The hot tub never got hot, despite several attempts and being told that it was being turned on and heated up remotely. We also asked to pay 150 to heat the pool on Sunday, and that never seemed to happen. Finally, on Saturday night (the second of our 3-night stay), a sewage smell began emanating from the basement bathroom by the laundry room. We never used this bathroom and there was no clog, so we were definitely not at fault for this, and as the night wore on, the smell began to creep up into the higher levels of the house, got into some of the bedrooms, etc. The property management team did send some plumbers on Sunday and they checked it out, but all they could do was put down some deodorizer, and said that it was going to be a big project to address, and that this couldn't be done until after our group had vacated the property.
