„Clean and had all supplies needed. Communication with host very good and responsive. Only complaint is that the couch is very uncomfortable to sit on… not sure about fold out bed. Beautiful yard if weather permits sitting outdoors. Would stay again!“

We visited the nearby la paz gardens, which was amazing. And we went up to see the poas volcano, which cleared up nicely for us so we get a good look. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. „This stay was a wonderful experience! We spent Christmas at Gloria's house and it was perfect. The house and grounds are beautiful, with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed the well-maintained trail down to the river from the house, and visited the Blue Falls - highly recommend for those able to manage some stairs and elevation. We did not rent a car and found Uber and taxi transportation readily available. All the recommended staff were excellent. They were very kind, timely and helpful when minor problems occurred.
