« Nowhere in the description didn’t mention 90 steps to the property, upon entering there was no electric and was told to go to the circuit box and flip switches, which was difficult to do in the dark . We were locked out on 2 occasions with the second time being dark, raining and cold. The key didn’t work. there’s no sink in the kitchen area.The only sink is in the bathroom. the 2 twin beds were extremely hard and could not be slept on. I book this property based on beds in description. The host...

« Amazing spot, definitely the best for the view and the calm. Important: Know that you are right in the middle between Corniglia and Vernazza: so if you don’t have a car, it’s at least a 30 minutes walk upwards in a trail from one or the other. BUT the day of your check-in and out, the host offer to pick you up at no charge) at Corniglia train station so it’s ok if you are travelling with heavy suitcases. »

« The railway station is directly below the apartment. This wasn't noted or listed and wasn't shown in the photo's. I was really disappointed that this wasn't made clear. The space also looks more new and fresh in the photos than it really is. The space is functional and generally clean, but things were old, dated and partially broken. I think the price didn't match what we paid for. The view from the balcony was amazing though, that was the biggest highlight. »

« This place is a gem! Not sure what we loved most: the babbling brook outside the home, the nooks and crannies, the multiple layers of patio, the lemon and orange trees, or the cozy interior. Be sure to let your parking attendants know that you are staying in Villa Smith, so they can drop you off instead of taking you all the way into Vernazza. Convenient to town, restaurants, shopping and the hiking trails that make Cinque Terra so special! »
