Great Stay

We enjoyed or stay. It was just as the pictures. Host very responsive. Best parts of the house for us Grill, deck, fireplace and the fire pit. Certainly planning on coming back.

Amazing weekend getaway

This home was so quaint. It was perfect for our needs. It was so comfortable and inviting. Being the animal lovers we are, we were thrilled with all the wildlife that was literally outside in the yard. The gas fireplace made our weekend so cozy. The hosts were amazing and provided immediate support with any concerns we had. We definitely would love to return!

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain home! It was nestled up the hill in the woods and we were able to observe the wildlife from the many windows in the house as well as the back patio. I also enjoyed my mornings in the loft doing yoga and watching television. We enjoyed the close proximity to the local restaurants and bars. Terra Cottage was our favorite for breakfast and Nicks for after hour drinks and music. The house was very quaint and cozy. We already booked again and will be back in the late Fall!

Great stay!

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean with thoughtful storage and comfortable beds. Some other details we appreciated were the back deck where we enjoyed dinner and the fire pit for making smores. We would definitely stay there again!

Great Place!

Had a great time staying here! The rooms were nice and place was clean. The second floor deck connecting to both bedrooms was a cool feature and the lower deck out back was great for grilling and entertaining. Cool setting for a fire pit in the back yard between boulders was fun also. Would definetley stay here again. Great location!

Great family trip!

We booked this trip as a last minute get away for the 4th of July. We were wanted a change of scenery and it was exactly what we needed. The house was quite charming, and fit our family perfectly. The upstairs loft gave the kids a place to hang out and have some independence, while we were able to watch tv in the downstairs living room. Not having used the third room we could have comfortably stayed with another family. The kitchen was a perfect size. We cooked breakfast daily, most days ate out for lunch, and used the deck and grill for dinners. The large dining table allowed us to eat dinner nightly as a family. The house is located a short walk to Lake Harmony. Our daughters are a little older, so they were able to walk down to the neighborhood's private beach. Right next to the private beach is a great place to kayak or paddle board. For the 4th our family, along with others in the neighborhood, walked down for the awesome firework show over Lake Harmony. During the day we were a short drive from state parks. We took advantage and did some hiking. We found ourselves at Nick's for most lunches because it has a beautiful view of Lake Harmony. There is a local grocery store right outside of the neighborhood that sold great meats. And all the "locals" in town were extremely friendly. The owners Steve and Tonya were wonderful and promptly returned our questions. We will definitely stay with them again!

Fabulous Home and Location

This beautiful home was perfect for our family visit to Lake Harmony. We can not say enough positive things about this tastefully decorated house. My adult family (3 couples and an adult son) stayed here for 3 nights. It is well equipped, the bathrooms are modern and immaculate, the kitchen has everything you need and the location is beautiful with a spacious wrap around deck with grill. The owner was always responsive to our questions and even contacted us to allow us to check in early. We walked to the beach at Lake Harmony and drove to several good restaurants which were less than 5 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again

Relaxing Getaway

Our group of 5 adults and 4 and 6 year boys, loved staying at the cabin for a short getaway over Thanksgiving weekend. The floor plan allowed us to be together while enjoying separate activities like games, reading, watching movies, and cooking without ever feeling cramped. Plenty of floor space for young boys to play as well! Enjoyed gas fireplace whenever we were inside. Kitchen is well stocked and organized. Mattresses were awesome. Furniture comfortable. Amazing views and sunsets off the back of the house and, although we didn't make use of it this trip, the back deck is a great feature.

Great house with Everything a practical mom needs!

We loved our stay! The house was great with a great layout and plenty of space and separate areas for both us as a couple and our kids! We like early excursions and afternoon/evenings to hang at the house. There were hooks everywhere we needed them, and every kitchen utensil and pot/pan we needed was available. The kids loved having their own space and balcony, and climbing on the boulders in the backyard kept them occupied for hours. We utilized the fire pit for s'mores although it could use more seating. The deck is plenty big for a family plus some. Another plus, the beds were super comfortable and clean, better than outr mattress at home. Lots of Plastic hangers!!!! This stuff is super important to us! We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

Perfect quiet family vacation spot

From before check in to check out all of my questions were answered super quick.. location is very pretty, lake and beach super clean and lots of friendly people . We rented kayaks and canoes ant Yeti water sports at split rock, which was lots of fun and great prices. Ate at shenanigans for lunch Nicks lakeside for dinner and pigglys for. Breakfast all were very giood. Mostly cooked meals at the house, kitchen is very clean and well equipped with pots pans trays etc. house is very clean furniture and beds very comfy. My family of 7 had a great long weekend vacation Thank you !!

Delivers on all promises

While I have never used VRBO or Air B&B before, this place was a home run from the jump. My guests who have used these services stated that this was a great property. Good layout, quiet bedrooms, Strong WIFI, great fire pit, and outdoor deck. The A/C was cold (even though the temps after 2 pm didn't need it if you opened the multitude of windows) and the ceiling fans keep the place well ventilated. The main table is large and great for both dinner and card games. Communication was easy with the property owner and when I reached out and left a message, I was contacted in less than half an hour! For a weekend dedicated to just simply unplugging and connecting with friends, this was a great home base!

Communication with the property manager Tori, was exceptional! She was always available upon request. The area and neighborhood provided our family with much to do and great memories! Swimming, fishing, hiking. The house was nice but could have been cleaned and prepared better for our stay ( back deck not swept, no propane in tank).. Overall, would recommend stay at Lake Harmony Estate.

Fall getaway in Lake Harmony

A needed break within 2 hours of KSQ, PA. It was a perfect early fall weekend to take in the last bit of summer to kayak on Lake Harmony and hike some local hikes around the area. We brought all our food (still COVID wary), and did not eat out much. The kitchen was adequately supplied with cooking ware, utensils, and food prep tools. It was very quiet in the house given that neighbors are in close proximity. The house was recently upgraded with two new flat screens with ROKU with fire-stick, both in the family room and loft. Also had good Wi-fi. The FR was nicely appointed with a gas fireplace that put out heat, not just for looks. The beds were comfortable and there were two full baths, with one BR and bath on the first floor. The second floor offered a nice loft area with washer /dryer and another 2 bedrooms. The large deck is nicely done with a gas grill and there was a fire pit off the back through some rocks on the property. We came to hike and though lake harmony is a pretty lake, it doesn't offer a walking trail around it and it is a short walk down to the lake. Nearby hikes we did were in beautiful Hickory Run State Park, the Bear Creek Preserve, and the Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area, which has a really nice trail that borders the Tobyhanna Creek. I would recommend any of these places. We did kayak on the lake. The closest to the house for kayak rentals is lake harmony watersports. I would pass on using them and go to Yeti watersports. One side note regarding food. Given the population of the area and that many people are from the tri-state area, there really isn't a decent grocery store nearby, so plan accordingly. We did stop one afternoon for a late lunch at Bear Creek Cafe, because there is seating outside next to a creek and the setting was beautiful with well attended gardens and potted dahlias all around. Gorgeous setting and nice owners.

Nice place in good location

Our family of four (two young kids) really enjoyed ourselves. Good location- close to lake, mountain, Hickory Run St Park, etc. The house was nicely set up. It is obvious the owners have been putting a lot of effort into updating the property. Comfortable couches and chairs in living areas. The kitchen was very well stocked. Enjoyed the deck, which has nice patio set and grill. The owners quickly responded to a question we had.
