« The condo was easy to enter and the keyless system is great because you don’t need to remember a key. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The location is lovely and it was terrific be able to walk right out of the unit to go to the wonderful pool, hot tub, or ocean. Everything was steps away! The extra touches of beach towels, welcome snacks, and the use of a cooler was a pleasant surprise. The location, amenities, beach access and etc were amazing! Plus the whales, turtles, and dolphins sure out on a show for us. Overall we truly felt the Aloha from the staff and quests and left feeling like Ohana. « We enjoy the location of the Papakea Resort and have stayed there a few times. We enjoyed our stay. The living area was comfortable and clean. There were several beach items (chairs, umbrellas etc) available for our use. The bathroom, specifically the shower area, was a bit dingy and in need of an update. Overall, we were happy with the condo and our stay was a good one. »

« Stayed for 4 days in Kaanapali, chose the Whaler for its close proximity to the village, dining and steps to the pool and beach. The condo felt like home away from home, the kids loved using the boogie boards and swimming with the turtles just downstairs from our unit. Kitchen is well equipped, we made breakfast every morning and ate it on the lanai, the grill area downstairs is super convenient, we dined next door at Monkey pod and Leilani's which are fabulous. « We have stayed at this condo resort 2 years ago and came back. It is very nice location on the ocean with great sunsets and a relaxed vibe. They have tennis and pickleball, mini golf, shuffleboard and pools and hot tubs. Parking is included in the resort fee which is reasonable. The room itself was a nice studio condo. It has a full kitchen, fridge, etc. It is larger than a standard hotel room. The room has some wear but overall it is nice. We will definitely be back to stay here again. »

« Beautiful grounds, condo starts to show its age. Stinky air conditioning that has a musty odor. Kitchen poorly equipped with very few items and those that are there are dull knifed and cisors, needs replacement. Units should provide beach equipment. Pool water in cloudy and crowded, not inviting at all.very small condo . Overall we were disappointed. »
