„We never wanted to leave!!!! I absolutely fell in love with this home. For my 30th birthday I searched endlessly for a place that would offer my husband and I some guaranteed solace. This was exactly that. In the high desert, looking up at the stars at night was an experience of a lifetime. We gazed for hours! Many shooting stars were seen and easily visible to the naked eye. And with the canyon winds blowing in the air, it was absolutely perfect timing for the cowboy pool (early June). The ...

„Excellent location to get away! This clean, secure property has everything you need to spend a little R&R under the stars. We enjoyed the proximity to Pioneertown and Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley. Highly recommended. “

„Overall, an outstanding stay! My GF and I had a wonderful time in this cozy little retreat! We chose a new moon stay which meant magnificent views of the stars and Milky Way from the hot tub! Joshua Tree, the town and national park, offers some unique sightseeing and amazing park scenery. Only a couple of things I’d change…1. Fix the coded lock door. The bolt sticks. „We had such a wonderful and peaceful stay at The Creosote Cottage. The location is removed from the hustle bustle of actual Joshua Tree, which we loved. The cottage has the best desert home vibes and truly has everything you need: all the cooking supplies, spices, coffee/tea, Q-tips, makeup towels, body wash/lotion, shampoo/ conditioner, games and puzzles, an AMAZING record player and choice of records, pool floaties, corn hole, LITERALLY EVERYTHING. „Property Host was very straight forward! Really the only thing I think could have been smoother was check-in process. At the time of this review, I was given a link, and assumed that link would have my direct (personal) code to enter the home right away or revealed in some way. But I ended up needing to contact the host. Which, I know might not be the worst thing, but I’ve had smoother times during check-in process and Dagger Tree just happened to be the least convenient. The host group is extremely helpful and responsive, and the property itself is amazing. The pool/hot tub is amazing, and the technology in the house (speaker system specifically) puts a nice touch on this secluded getaway.Would absolutely stay here again!“

„Complimentary toiletries was a used bottle of shampoo and conditioner. No body wash. Hand soap was only in one bathroom, no blankets downstairs to make it more comfortable to watch t.v. ants in the downstairs bathroom. Everything else was fine.“

"Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt in Ordnung. Das Motel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt durchaus akzeptabel. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal – alle waren sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist der vorhandene Aufzug, was nicht selbstverständlich ist in dieser Hotelkategorie. Auch der Pool ist gut ausgestattet, vor allem mit der Rollstuhlhebebühne, was Barrierefreiheit ermöglicht – ein großes Lob dafür! Insgesamt ein solider Aufenthalt mit kleinen Abstrichen beim Zustand des Gebäudes, aber sehr gutem Service."
