« This is one of the best places we have stayed on our travels. It is an old thatched cottage style pub resplendent with some lovely original features. Walking in from the car park we loved the wisteria hung entranceway with outdoor tables and chairs. Our room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. I must admit if you sleep with the window open the road outside may disturb you but we kept it closed. We ate in the restaurant on the night of our stay and breakfast...

« The room was clean, warm, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite, although we couldn’t find anyone at the bar when we wanted to check in and we couldn’t find a bell. It is an old building and the stairs to our room were quite steep and narrow and quite a lot of them. They allowed us to park in the car park for the two days, although we were only staying the one night. »

« Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
