« Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning. »

« If you are walking the Tarka Trail, actually even if you are not, this is the place to stay. The setting is idyllic the hosts are so welcoming and helpful and the lodge is well equipped. »

« The owner was just fantastic, so attentive to our needs and the secret way to locate the property, (if you know, you know, it is a genius), the first people and or persons we were introduced to were three stunning horses. (Two of our favourite royals after Kate of course, & My Wife' nickname), we loved the alpacas, the rabbits, the dogs and it was just so picturesque and beautiful. Our whole holiday was just perfect we didn't want to leave. We would love to see the owner again and love that part...

« This was a great property. Very clean, warm, comfortable and private as it was on the first floor. It had all the amenities you needed for a short break or even longer. It was close to the city, the hoe, restaurants and shops. All could be reached without the car. We left ours parked in the secure garage underneath the property. Bed was very comfortable, decor lovely and plenty of space to eat, cook and relax. My only comment would be the shower was difficult for anyone 5ft 9 or taller because...
