„Great spot on River. Nice hole in front of house for swimming and fishing. Caught several small mouth bass. Very private, really enjoyed seating on porch and around fire pit listening to river. Seen bald eagle on our last morning. Would for sure go there again. Host was great, communication was great and had no problems during our stay. “

„The property is cozy, comfy, and modern. The bed is comfortable, and the wifi is good which I was thankful for since we had no cell service around here. Plenty of room for the dog to run around. We really enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the plentiful firewood that was provided. It could be a little loud with the road being close by and people going fast, but there is a sound machine provided in the bedrooms which was very thoughtful. “

„We loved this house, so much character. The owner was so sweet and helpful. We cooked and ate our meals here (you can even do a grocery pickup at the Kroger which is not far away). We loved listening to the river, and truly just enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back!“

Surrounded by beautiful mountains and near the New River, we couldn't resist the views from the porch and spent most of our time relaxing and visiting on the porch. „This little house was quite roomy and cozy. The host provided check-in and WiFi information on request only, but responded quickly to all our questions. WiFi was spotty, which probably isn't unusual this deep in the countryside. The washer was broken when we got there. The kitchen cupboards were full, yet I couldn't find a matching lid for the big pot, nor was there a ladle. "We had a great time at this unique place in the wilderness. This huge property was very peaceful and included a little pond and a creek (!). And it is perfectly located for visiting the “New River Gorge” Nation Park. The cabin is extremely cozy and rustic with lots of wood, impressive hunting decoration and authentic furniture. The kitchen and the bathroom were well maintained and neat. And we loved stargazing in the jacuzzi. "
