« The cottage is absolutely adorable! Perfect for our little Mount Airy/ Mayberry getaway! The cottage is just around the corner from Wally's Station & the Squad car tours. The town is a short distance away. We walked to downtown easily. (ages 62). The cottage has so much character and charm. The home is fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. « Honestly we were only inside for sleeping. We spent the entire time out on either the deck or on the screened in porch. My mom called the screened in part her little tree house, because it felt more like being in the trees due to how the property sits. Even though all the beautiful oaks & magnolia trees block a full view of the lake from the porches, you only have to wander over to the pavilion, fire pit or dock to take in it’s beauty.
