Lilly Hall Hopkiln - Exceptional 3 Bedroom Cottage in Ledbury Herefordshire

Come and unwind at Lilly Hall Hopkiln located at our top class racehorse yard just outside the pretty market town of Ledbury. Nestled in 70 acres of beautiful Herefordshire countryside, with spectacular views towards the Much Marcle Ridge and Gloucestershire's May Hill, it's the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Surrounded by excellent pubs and restaurants, with Ledbury only a 5 minute drive away, we are also ideally located for spectacular walks in the Malvern Hills, along the River Wye at Symonds Yat, Abergavenny's Sugarloaf walk and many more in the Brecon Beacons National park. There is also bicycling in the Forest of Dean, canoeing down the River Wye, horse riding in the stunning countryside, a days racing at Cheltenham - the list goes on and on. Lilly Hall Hopkiln really is the perfect base to explore the beautiful counties of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire and Worcestershire.

It is a stylish and very comfortable 3 bedroom cottage set within the peaceful grounds of our home and racehorse yard, Ed de Giles Racing. On arrival you will be greeted by our 4 very friendly lurchers and terrier. There are also ducks, chickens, and racehorses in the fields, all adding to the stunning Herefordshire surroundings of Lilly Hall Hopkiln.

Ground Floor:
Bedroom 1: with zip and link twin beds (can be super king size on request), Roberts Radio, hairdryer and electric fan.
Bedroom 3: pretty single sleigh bed (please note it has a 182cm mattress and the bed has a footboard), hairdryer, electric fan, playing cards and board games in the chest of drawers.
Bathroom 1: bath with shower over, underfloor heating, heated towel rail, Sukin body wash and shampoo. A non slip bath mat and bath stool can be provided on request.
Utility: large fully equipped and stocked utility with washing machine, separate dryer, clothes drying racks, ironing board/iron and drinks fridge.
Access to the Hopkiln garden with seating area, bbq (charcoal provided), fire pit (wood provided) and spectacular views of rolling fields of racehorses, mares and foals and the beautiful hills beyond.

First Floor:
Living area: a stunning open plan beamed living space with dining area, Freeview smart TV and Bluetooth speaker.
Kitchen: fully equipped kitchen and well stocked with essentials and some bread (traces of nuts), croissants, milk, locally made apple juice, butter, bacon, eggs, jam, granola (contains nuts), coffee, tea and herbal teas. There is a dishwasher (tablets provided), microwave and Nespresso coffee machine (pods provided).
Bathroom 2: Shower, underfloor heating, heated towel rail, Sukin body wash and shampoo.

Second Floor:
Bedroom 2: Master Bedroom with double bed, Roberts Radio, hairdryer and electric fan.

Lilly Hall Hopkiln is fully gas central heated with bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.

You have unlimited access to our tennis court, and tennis rackets and balls are provided.

A tour of our yard and facilities can be arranged.

Things to note:

Lilly Hall Hopkiln has it's own large gravel parking area in front of the house (please do not block the track going up past the Hopkiln as it is in constant use), with guests having access to the Hopkiln's garden behind and our tennis court.

Please note due to racehorses there is no access along the track past the Hopkiln, the racehorse yard or fields without prior permission.

When booking with infants a travel cot can be provided on request, but please note the Living Room is on the first floor and there are no safety gates. There are also unfenced ponds close to the Hopkiln so it is ideally suited to children over 8 yrs.

Strictly no parties, hen or stag nights permitted.

There is an extra charge for charging of electric cars.
