« Room had a beautiful view from the balcony. We were able to park right outside the room. The room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated, with a good sized bathroom. No breakfast at the hotel, but there were a few good options a 10-minute drive away in Penn Yan. »

« The Inn is in a beautiful setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and a comfortable arm chair and good lamp provided a cozy place for R&R. The spacious common area & well kept grounds would be a very pleasant place to spend time with family and friends. I was advised in advance that the restaurant was not serving dinner, but the staff provided a list of eateries in the local area. I had a very good meal at the New American Grill. « Okay, it's nice enough for hiking and it's clean with a good view. Unfortunately, there is no blow dryer and the communication with the staff is hit or miss. I asked for a 3rd for room with my reservation, but the hotel owners said second floor would be better. Well, you can hear everything from the people above (stomping around and yelling). The area was hit hard from Helene...a lot lf trails still closed and not much for restaurant options in downtown Spruce Pine as they're still recovering. »

« Établissement en réparation. Mais aucun avis de sécurité pour les escaliers. C'en est dangereux puisqu'il y a une marche supplémentaire au bas de l'escalier, le tout recouvert de carton de même couleur. Cela aurait pris un ligne de couleur rouge pour avertir qu'il a cette marche supplémentaire qui n'est pas de la même dimension que celles dans le restant de l'escalier. Mon épouse et moi sommes tombés à cause de cela. De plus, le stationnement n'est pas pavé, de la boue partout parce que l'on...

« The inn is very charming on the outside and the grounds were very pretty in the fall. The inside is starting to look a bit run down. Our room was very small and also in need of a refresh. I expect more from a room when I’m paying $450 a night. The food was just ok. The decorations for Halloween, specifically the carved pumpkins were impressive. Overall I was a bit disappointed and I think it is way overpriced for what you are getting. »

« I am disabled & the staff verbally & mentally abused me. They were convicting me of outrageous actions so much so I am throwing up and can't even drive right now... i spent so much money to stay here... & I am so heartbroken.... »
