As soon as we booked, communication with the host was great, providing us with information on the location etc. When we arrived, the cottage was spotless and even better than the pictures. The location was private and quiet and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. We plan on coming again and hopefully staying longer next time. »

« Our experience at this cottage was extremely disappointing. After driving for 4 hours, we had to clean for two hours before unpacking to make it a bit more acceptable. Where do I begin, the cottage was very dirty and so are the pots and pans left there to be used by the guests. The kettle on the stove was filled with dirty rusty water, the cast iron pans were greasy and dirty, the table, chairs and wall behind the stove were very sticky. « I stayed at the Secluded Cabin for a halfway stop on a trip back to Ohio from South Carolina. Real close to I-77, which is awesome. The cabin is fantastic. « Small, clean room with a comfortable bed. Great location in the heart of Jim Thorpe. The problem for us was that there is just one parking space which was occupied and parking in Jim Thorpe is quite difficult to find, especially for overnight parking. If the space is available, you are all set. If not, good luck finding a place to park where you wont get a ticket. »

« This place was perfect for us on this trip. We only needed one bedroom but there are 3 at this one. Everything you need for the kitchen is provided. I loved having a washer and dryer also. A covered place to park our motorcycle was a super plus for us. They even provided towels for wiping off the morning dew that will settle on our bike. But the covered parking helps out tremendously!
