« Stayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I canât recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay.
Not forgetting the pub attachedâŠâŠwhere we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie weâve ever had with great personal service too.
Weâd highly recommend the Rose & Thistle and look...
« Hotel very clean and freshly painted. Great view of the sea. Our room was clean and modern but noisy as next to the bar and water evacuation pipes just next to our bed. Probably got the hotels.com room. Breakfast booked for 9 am - very good but service disorganised. »
"The staff were very friendly, and the location is dreamy â Seahouses is a charming seaside town with a lively main street, easy access to pubs, and the innâs restaurant has a genuinely lovely view of the sea.
Unfortunately, the room experience was very disappointing. Our room (39) was cramped, with stuffy air and no real comfort. Instead of the second double/sofa bed described, we were given a bunk bed â not at all what we expected, and a very unpleasant surprise. To make things worse, the room was at street level, looking out directly onto an unattractive parking lot and intersection, rather than the sea view we had hoped for.
For the price and reputation, I expected much more. While the staff and location deserve praise, the accommodation itself fell far below expectations."
