Hotel Lexington - Salisbury

« Room was clean, staff friendly and supportive. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly and polite. Kept food well supplied. Parking lot first night we were there had people drinking beer around parked cars. Some sitting on curb blocking people from parking in spots. Outside trash cans full all weekend. Shower head had very low water pressure. »

« I was not able to reschedule my stay for a week later even though a state emergency had been declared in the face of the winter storm. Both Expedia and Hampton said it was up to the other entity. I will not be using Expedia again. »

« several wall switches non-operational; some of the furnishings could have been cleaned better; bath ceiling fan very loud; make sure your room faces the back parking as the traffic noise from Rt85 (which is immediately in front of the of the building) in front is significant all night. Otherwise, all was as expected for this class motel: clean overall, check-in quick, furnishings thruout very basic but getting old, very basic breakfast, general location is convenient. « It wasn’t great, the room was clean but the breakfast fast low level hotel food. Parking was great and the hotel is in a pretty convenient location store wise. The staff is good and the room was a nice size. »

« Not at all as pictured. These are clearly not of this property. They couldn’t give us extra pillows. The phone was inoperable. The faucet handle was broken. No privacy between bathroom and the rest of the room. When informed of issues the response was “okay” without even a note being taken. They charged $100 to my card without an explanation. The cops arrived to get a “tenant” out that wasn’t paying. Divided into two buildings completely separate from main entrance. We felt unsafe. »

« Rick, in the main office, was nice. My room was not. There were stains on the couches and chairs. The floor was sticky and dirty throughout. There were a dozen+ stink bugs on walls and furniture. There was an empty can of odor control fogger on the floor beside the bed. The bed was broken and shifted off its base. There wasn't a light bulb in the lamp by the bed. The towel rack was broken off. Floor board in the kitchen was peeling back. I found a different hotel for the second night of my stay....

« Wait outside 20minutes on freezing weather and ring a bells until person who sleep inside wake up . After wake up this person start screaming on us( why we ring a bell and and make phone calls on work phone) Terrible service »

« Our room was mostly clean. The bath toilet had a leak underneath onto the floor. The sheer curtains had yellow and brown stains. The refrigerator wasn't on so we had to turn it on and wait for it to cool to put drinks in. That never happened. Lucky we had a cooler and there was ice on our floor. Breakfast was good if you weren't eating eggs. Boiled eggs would not peel. Scrambled eggs were almost runny and tasteless. We've stayed at this Hampton Inn in the past. It was much better. ...
