Hotel Lilongwe

« They upgraded me for free which was very nice. I booked another night after this. I didn't order dinner the first time. When I ordered the se9cnd time the scheduled sirloin steak turned inti two little pieces of chicken stew with lots of bone, not worth the money but otherwise everything was great. The cook is amazing. Marietta was fantastic. »

« Woodlands Lilongwe is a welcoming retreat amongst a nature reserve close to the centre of Lilongwe. Staff are exceptionally proficient and hospitable; the room is spacious, clean and has good amenities. The restaurant has an extensive, tasty menu with local produce often used, and service is fast and friendly. Thank you for a pleasant stay during my business trip »

« Room was not ready with soap and shower requirements, coffee etc. The room was clean, but could see it not being maintained. The staff was very helpful and tried correct problems. The refrigerator turned on but did not cool at all. »

« To be honest I was pleasantly surprised. I wanted something affordable and convenient for my graduation trip and I got this and more. The hospitality was amazing. My small party of 3 enjoyed all the dinners we had here - we went for all traditional and healthy and loved every bite. Breakfast was great too. »

« It was clean simple and pleasant. The ease of breakfast lunch and or dinner on property was nice and it is convenient to go to several other restaurants/ hotels for meals very close by. The food was very good and nice options. »

« Fantastique domaine, une perle »

« Hôtel exceptionnel, tous standards confondus »

« Mirroring the exterior concrete slab look of the property, the horrible inside of the hotel is a tired version of what used to be even as new ugly design and poor furniture choice. The doors were not made for the frame and hardware so all doors are hacked on the top. You can see daylight around the doors as the fit is so poor. Good luck finding power plugs in there, you will have to unplug some lamp after using a lot of energy moving the heavy furniture. Bed, chair, tables are all too large for...

« Although the staff is smiling and welcoming, I would not recommend that hotel for the following reasons. There was not water one day and I went to work without shaving and taking a shower. I selected that hotel because there is a gym and I found a gym not maintained, some equipment was broken or not working and most benches are unstable, which is very dangerous while handling weights. After four days, I moved to Sunbird Capital and I found a much more comfortable hotel for the same rate and with...

« Pretty, well-kept small hotel in lovely garden. Excellent staff, very clean. »

« We had a great stay at Nelly's. It was small and secure with a great location. All the staff was extremly nice and helpful with all our needs. »

« The property is very poorly maintained. Staff is excellent. »

« Sam was extremely helpful. »
