It is as described
Communication was excellent and fast. Very smooth in and out. The property worked well for us but we are mostly ‘no frills’ guys. It is showing a bit of wear in some places and the beds in open was a little different but it was a good experience. We are going to re-book next year.

Wouldn't recommend, misrepresented
I was very disappointed in the state of this property. The landscape beds are overgrown and full of weeds. The cleanliness of this property leaves much to be desired. There were dirty wash clothes in the showers, Q-tips and dirty socks left in the bedrooms, a filthy microwave and dishes in the cupboards that were still dirty. We had rented the property earlier and I had addressed the cleaning issues with the owner. Frankly, I would not have stayed the second time if I could have canceled the reservation and had my payment returned to me. However, after the first stay, he said he would consult the cleaning crew for the next stay and have the issues resolved. The property was in worse shape this time than it was the previous stay. The screens all have holes in them and the deck area is very rundown. The TVs did not provide any local channels as stated and the remote was the incorrect one for accessing the apps or menu on the TV. Therefore, we had to stream from our cell phones to watch television. We could not locate a remote for the downstairs television. I also feel as if the number of rooms listed in the description of the property was incorrect. There are four bedrooms that actually have doors. The other beds are just located in the common area downstairs. All beds have a plastic protector on them that makes it very loud and hot to sleep on. We had to strip the bedding and remove them in order to sleep comfortably the second night. The bathrooms were not cleaned upon arrival. Frankly, half of the guests staying would not take a bath or shower due to the unclean conditions. We entered the kitchen in the evening and turned the lights on to find several bugs crawling all over the counter. Thankfully we had several events and activities planned for the weekend and did not have to spend very much time at the property. It was our feeling that for the price of the property, it is definitely not worth it and was misrepresented in the photos and description provided by the owner. I would not recommend this rental to anyone!

Basic and beds...lots of beds, that is all
As the previous reviewer stated, it a large home with lots of beds and mattresses. it is not a home but a house for sleeping large groups of college aged boys. The sheets were pilling, plastic covers on most mattresses and thin cheap comforters. No ironing board or iron. Vincent, owner, very accommodating when called and received both within an hour. Told him at that time that the home was definitely not cleaned prior to our arrival by his cleaning crew. Only vacuum marks. Windows cloudy, floors sticky and showers/sinks not clean. Microwave must have had a pizza pocket explosion and was eaten at the dining table as it was sticky/stained with tomato sauce. This house needs to be deep cleaned and cleaned after each guest plus during this time of a pandemic, very unsanitary. Also, in checking as to the criteria for being a Premier host, i now see that it is based on reviews. Which in looking at previous reviews, i would believe that they are not verified renters of this property as it does not deserve this status. Renter beware. I will be contacting VRBO as this is not right to assign Premier status to such a house. No kleenex, dishtowels or remote for TV (they were for different models and wouldn't work). Bath towels (10) were thin/threadbare.

Large home but needs some TLC
Our group of 16 stayed at this home for a family member's wedding taking place in Lincoln over the weekend. We liked the size of this home - plenty of beds to accommodate a large group. Sits on a big piece of land and is conveniently located close to the city. Host was nice and responsive. On the other hand, we were not pleased with the cleanliness of the home. This rental desperately needs to be deep cleaned. Upon arrival, we couldn't help but notice filthy walls & windows, cobwebs in the bedrooms, dirty used kitchen sponges in the kitchen (just to name a few). All mattresses (but one) were covered in plastic and were extremely uncomfortable and hot to sleep on. Bedding felt very cheap. There were 10 towels provided for a home that sleeps 16 (towels were also damp upon arrival, had to throw them in the dryer before using). We were unable to locate an iron & board anywhere in the home so we were obligated to run to the store and purchase more towels and an iron. Overall, it seems this home has been furnished as cheaply as possible and it shows. A good rental should go beyond the bare minimum in my opinion and we just didn't see that with this home. Really wish we could have enjoyed our stay more as this house has lots of potential.
