The space



Summit Shenandoah is built around one of its most memorable features: the view. From the main living area and expansive deck, the Shenandoah Valley stretches out below you, with the river, rolling countryside, and distant mountain ridges all visible from the property. It’s the kind of setting that changes throughout the day and makes simply being at the house feel like part of the getaway.



🍽️ Gather

The main floor brings the kitchen, dining area, and living room together in one large open space, making it easy for everyone to cook, eat, and spend time together. The kitchen has plenty of room for preparing group meals, while the dining and living areas stay connected to the view through large windows and doors leading to the deck.



At the center of the living room is a wood-burning fireplace, giving the space a warm gathering point on cooler evenings. Step outside and the deck opens directly onto panoramic views across the Shenandoah Valley, including the river and distant mountains.



Downstairs, a second kitchenette with full-size appliances, including an oven and refrigerator, adds extra flexibility for larger groups and longer stays. A full custom-made bar anchors the space, making the lower level just as well suited for drinks, snacks, and movie nights as it is for extra meal prep.

The home has four bedrooms, with two on the main floor and two on the lower level. There’s one full bathroom on the main floor, plus a full bathroom and a half bath downstairs. The bathrooms have heated floors, and the lower-level full bathroom also includes a private infrared sauna.



Several rooms take advantage of Summit Shenandoah’s elevated setting, so the surrounding landscape is never far from view.

This is where Summit Shenandoah really earns its name. The deck looks out over a sweeping panorama of the Shenandoah Valley, with the Shenandoah River visible below and layers of mountains stretching into the distance. Morning coffee, afternoon downtime, and sunset all come with a view that is difficult to capture in photos.



The hot tub gives you another place to take in the scenery, while the lower level includes a large Scandinavian-inspired bathroom with heated floors, a walk-in shower, and a private infrared sauna.



For evenings indoors, the lower-level theater room has a projector, television, and pellet stove for colder nights. With the custom bar, theater, sauna, hot tub, and two fireplaces, there’s plenty to enjoy without ever leaving Summit Shenandoah.

Guests have private access to the full home, including all four bedrooms, the main kitchen and living areas, lower-level theater and kitchenette, custom bar, deck, hot tub, and infrared sauna. Self check-in makes arrival easy. Please note that the garage and any locked owner or maintenance spaces are not accessible to guests.

The home is located in Skyland Estates, a quiet mountain community in Linden, Virginia. The setting feels peaceful and removed while still keeping you within easy reach of Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, the Shenandoah River, local wineries, restaurants, and downtown Front Royal. Homes in the community are spread throughout the wooded mountainside, giving the area a relaxed residential feel with easy access to the region’s outdoor attractions.



Getting around



A car is the easiest way to explore the area. The home is located in Skyland Estates, with convenient access to Front Royal, Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, local wineries, restaurants, and other Shenandoah Valley destinations. Rideshare service is available, though wait times can be longer and less predictable than in urban areas, so we recommend planning ahead when relying on it.

🛁 Hot Tub + Sauna — The private hot tub and infrared sauna are both available for guest use throughout your stay. The hot tub will be clean, balanced, and ready for you to enjoy, and our team maintains it regularly. A quick shower before soaking helps keep the water clean and clear, especially after using sunscreen, lotions, or bug spray. Please follow the operating instructions provided for the sauna and use both amenities responsibly.
