We stayed here about 4 years ago when under different management and were given a full tour of this beautiful, historic home, and had the most delicious breakfast in one of the reception rooms, a table for two. So romantic! Well, new management has stopped serving breakfast and there’s none of the feel of enjoying the reception rooms to sit and read or talk or take in the atmosphere of the olden days. « The room and bathroom were clean. The shower was hot. They upgraded us to a city view room and the staff is extremely friendly! The pool is heated but not really, so, it was cold. They also only have valet parking which is another $30. The location is also good for downtown. »

« The front desk staff (Sky) was very nice the hotel was being renovated so the condition was “under repair”. There was a strong smell of weed in some areas, that was disappointing. »

« Exceptionally clean. Nice amenities. Comfortable bed. Walking distance to Simmons Arena. Several good restaurants within 2 blocks. The only reason not a 5 star rating is noise from outside (price you pay for convenience!) did not cease until after 1pm (and this was a Wed). »

« Only thing that was bothersome was the attitude of desk clerk on check in - she couldn’t be bothered when I asked about getting a different room - curt short answer just not possible - I asked about room on first floor - my wife has mo bility issues - we ended up on 2nd floor but at end of hallway which was a distance »
