« The location of the house is perfect. Walking distance to downtown and the river. Pastries, juice, milk, cereal and coffee for breakfast. That was a nice treat. The sheets on the bed were dreamy! « Wow! Gorgeous home. Reminded me of my grandma's house. All the comforts of home; cozy. Relatively quiet for being close to 290. Perfect getaway with the hubby. Hiked Pedernales Falls, enjoyed a hotdog from Fat Boy burgers, went back to the house and listened to music on the turntable. PERFECT!! »

« You never quite know what you’re going to get when staying in remote areas, but this property was a gem. It’s tranquil, quiet, and full of wildlife. We booked it specifically to catch a meteor shower, and it did not disappoint. The dark, starry skies were incredible.The property features an easy hiking trail that follows a jeep path. The owner had kindly mowed a path through the tall grass, which stretched for well over a mile. For those who want a bit more adventure, there are shorter, steeper...

« The houses seem very new and the location is very convenient for visiting the vineyards in the area. Waking up and drinking coffee while watching cows in the field is a nice touch. Do note they don’t have ovens or stoves so morning breakfast can be a bit difficult but minor flaw in what was overall a wonderful stay. »
