« I rented this location for our summer vacation as part of a Christmas present for my astronomy-loving son. It was only about 20 minutes from Cherry Springs State Park, but on a clear night, you also had a beautiful view of the night sky from the property. The house itself was lovely and clean, and it had almost everything we needed for our stay (we second the suggestion for adding a tea kettle). « Our family had so much fun relaxing at this beautiful little cabin. Halle thought of everything and our dog even enjoyed his stay. Relaxing by the fire and playing card games at the picnic table was fun. There’s great fishing nearby and the creek is beautiful right behind the cabin. S’mores, star gazing, and laughter filled our evenings. »

« This A frame house was amazing. The owner paid excellent attention to detail and made the whole experience (even in dead of winter…) really enjoyable! Will be staying there again! »

« This property was amazing. It was very clean and inviting. It even had a crib, play pen, changing table and high chair! »

« Had a wonderful weekend at this cottage although we had a lot of rain. Beautiful View of the river. Very well stocked with anything you may need. Only negative was it was very muddy, pretty much calf deep to get down to the water. As there has been weeks of rain lately though this is probably not normally the case. The home also had no outdoor water faucet/ hose but thankfully my son had brought a 5 gallon bucket with so we could fill it in the cottage and bring it outside to wash muddy feet...

« I planned on spending my birthday in happy valley and searched all over for a place, then I found Lakewood cottage. I talked it over with the other couple that came with and it was an easy yes for the 4 of us. The place wasn’t far from the stadium and easy to get to. It was clean and tidy and overall an amazing stay for the weekend. We would definitely stay here again. »
