„We spent the day at the house on the rock and looked for a place to stay before heading on to the Dells. The rooms were fine, breakfast was ok and the Kids loved the pool with the slides. However the pool area surely needed a makeover and looked a bit sketchy. Yet we did enjoy our short stay.“

„This was an excellent base for our activities in Spring Green. It is located within about 5 minutes of both Taliesen and the summer theatre, in a quiet wooded location. The room we had was comfortable and clean. The staff are very helpful. Enjoying our breakfast in the lounge while watching the many birds outside was a highlight.“

„I like led that it was an eco hotel with nice sheets and comforter with nice view from the window. Helpful to have fridge in the room and it was kind to have ice waiting for us when we checked in. Not sure why ceiling looks like plywood and there is often not a person at the front desk, but those were minor issues. Conveniently located.“

But the room smelled quite musky and the AC was changed (turned warmer) while we were out of the room as well as the garbage being cleaned out without us approving for serviceOverall the stay was fine, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. „If you are looking for a unconventional place to unplug and unwind, the Cheese Wedge Cabin is a charming getway. Etienne is a lovely host who made us feel welcome and comfortable on her farm. We got up close and personal with the sheep, chickens, and Phoenix the sheepdog (who is the gentlest giant and steadfast companion).
