King Mountain is a great hike to the top, though never an easy one. There is a radio station tower on top, and I actually encountered several workers when I got to the top, they have to hike up also each time they have to work on the tower. Great views of the lake and mountains. There are a couple of places to park right beside the mountain. Watch out for the irrigation canal and stay away from it when it is running, it has a syphon that will suck you under and drown you. There is also a small cave on the side of the mountain that is a nice and cool spot on a hot day.

The staff was very nice for both check in and check out, the room was very clean, just an odd smell but not a bad smell, just wasnt used to it. Went to breakfast the next moring with a voucher, it was good, I just wish I would have looked to see they have a buffet style breakfast also. I would stay ...
