« My mother and I had the best stay at Heathwood Inn when we visited Bar Harbor this summer. The staff is amazingly nice and they even prepared for my last breakfast the famous pumpkin waffles I had seen in the comments and nicely asked for - if possible (they are so delicious). It is also very easy to move around the island as one of the island buses can stop right in front of the Inn, allowing you to explore Acadia without a car and struggling to find parking. Yass! »

« The place has a great location, pretty near to the Acadia National Park as well as Bar harbor and bass harbor lighthouse! The hotel has a nice and spacious dining hall that leads to a garden which then leads to pier. Nice place to spend an evening after a day at Acadia National Park! Hotel staff is wonderful and they go miles to help you out and make your stay pleasant. Manager was very helpful to lend us some books on Acadia which helped a lot to plan our visit.Will definitely come back here ! »

« I went by this place 5 years ago on another trip and said to myself cool, I’m staying there the next time. I was not disappointed! The breakfast’s were so unique, delicious and Anna serviced them up hot with a smile. Oh people say it’s too far from town, soooo! You just drive down to the visitor center at Hull’s Cove pay to park, it’s good for a week, and take the Island Explorer bus to downtown or other stops. I definitely will stay at Coach Stop Inn again wonderful experience! »

« We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. « We drove up from Maryland to view the eclipse. Drove from the property up to Houlton on Tuesday morning for that purpose. Didn't get to hang around the property much because we were on the go constantly, but it was as advertised, comfortable, clean and easy access.
