„die Zimmer waren sauber “

„The hotel was clean and the staff was really helpful. I had issues to program my keycard. So the staff had to do it for me. The room was clean and cosy, some coffee, a water, a Hair dryer and an iron were provided. The breakfast left no wishes unfulfilled.“

„Ich war wegen eines Unfalls gehandicapt, Besitzerpaar hat sich sehr gut um und gekümmert, auch Auto eingeparkt, Frühstück maßgeschneidert, schönes Zimmer, sehr schöner Vorgarten, sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt“

„Freundliches Personal, zentral gelegen, ruhig, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Ich startete hier meine Wanderung auf dem Hadrians Wall Path. Gute Ausgangslage, nahe von Bahnhof (5min) und Busstationen (10min). Jederzeit wieder👍“

„A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities“

„Nice hotel at great value. We had a 1 night stay with our dog and were very comfortable.“

„We had a fantastic stay at The Old Rectory. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was the most comfortable we had in a 3 week tour of the UK! The host, Dave was lovely. So helpful in recommending local sights, and made a wonderful breakfast and coffee in the morning. The location was fantastic as well, Easy to walk to the High Street, beautiful bridge and walking trails, Annan museum, and restaurants etc. Thank you!“

„Room large and very clean. Lovely small hotel with a beautiful restaurant. Very quiet at night. Highly recommended “

„Das Zimmer war ok für eine Nacht. Wir waren aber froh, als wir wieder weg waren..... Alles in allem ein sehr komisches Hotel “

„This is the second time I have stayed at the Halston and it never fails to impress. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. It is like having your own apartment.“

„Paul and Alison were great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Paul even picked us up from the train station as we couldn't get a cab. Food was hot and great portions. Would definitely recommend, great value for money 🙂“
