For a comparable price you can get so much more comfort and commodities in other hotels. No fridge, no micro wave, tiny room, sketchy neighborhood/customers and the shower looks and feels like a shower in prison or a slaughterhouse in the movie saw. Motel 6 never again

my family and i trying to check motel close to my grandfather funeral .so me and my kids travel all the way sandiego to get motel close to my grandfather funeral. but when we check in already . we check inside aircon broken, bedbugs, flys on the wall bathroom dirty ni trashcan really disgusting smell so bad im so disapointed. terrible after we check we go back to the cashier and cancel our stay for 2 nights. the front desk said i have to call expedia to cancel it. please dont come here specially if u have kids its not safe.

Girl at front desk was rude. When we finally checked in and went to the room, the room had a horrible smell. We used the restroom once and second flush wouldn’t flush. There was nasty stains all on the walls, floors and beds. Did not feel safe with so many homeless out front and there was human feces in walk way outside rooms. We walked back to registration and got a refund right away.

This place is nothing like the pictures! The rooms smelled horrible, I asked to be changed 3 times and all were smelly. The description is inaccurate because people do smoke in these rooms. Disgusting. Stay away.

So disappointing. It seems the quality of the service has gone down. You have to beg for clean towel and sheets. After 4pm to get clean ones. I stayed here numerous of times. I went 2 days wth no clean linen They allow the meth heads to get away with there traffic in and out all night. The room next to mine had 8 people staying They took out the community microwave.

Totally Not Acceptable
The room given had trash clean full of trash not sure if it was clean. The mattress was not only old but out of shape, one side was already pushed down. When bringing attention to the front desk, (Latino guy with tattoo on face), he refused to switch us a new room, saying owner will not allow. He said he can do a refund but at that I had no other choice but staying because i was late for my event.

The fire alarm in the room was removed but not installed. The toilet bowl was not cleaned, it was clogged. The service staff said that they could give some refund because the toilet was not clean, but in fact, no refund was given. Compared with when I lived before, the situation now is not good.

Was really disgusting the room was dirty, the shower had stains on it. There were bad people around, when we arrived the police was there because the recepcionist had a problem with some who wants to stay there. After we saw the room we asked for our refund and start looking for another place. I am still waiting for my refund. They told me it would take 3-5 days, hope to get it tomorrow.

We were unaware of the property's awful condition when we booked; partly our fault for not researching enough. We booked two rooms through Expedia and both of them were at the ground floor. One of the rooms was not even prepared; the sheets were dirty, the room hadn't been cleaned after the last guest, and there was a bad smell with water on the floor. Additionally, there were homeless people loitering in front of the door. The other room was in an okay-ish condition. The beds were made and relatively more livable. Perhaps this is why it was one of the cheapest options, but compared to other places we've stayed, this experience was unexpected. We booked online based on a 3.4 rating on Google, taking a chance, but we've stayed in many different hotels/motels and never encountered such conditions before. Feeling unsafe with my wife and kids, we decided to leave. I'll give a 3-star rating for the front office guy who promptly refunded the full amount without hesitation. Perhaps if you're alone, on a budget, and need a place for the night, you could consider this location. However, I would strongly advise visiting the place before booking, if possible, and considering the upper-level rooms.

Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that the black mole in the shower room was not available until an hour and a half after the designated check-in time. This delay inconvenienced my plans and set a negative tone for the rest of my stay. Furthermore, I overheard other occupants complaining about broken TVs during my time at the hotel. This not only raises concerns about the maintenance of your facilities but also reflects poorly on the overall guest experience. Adding to my disappointment, the thin walls in the rooms allowed me to hear intimate activities from neighboring rooms. This lack of privacy is unacceptable, especially for a place that may be frequented by families with children. The walls were so thin that it created an uncomfortable atmosphere, making it unsuitable for a family-friendly stay. Lastly, the size of the rooms was notably cramped, with one of the beds positioned uncomfortably close to the air conditioning unit. This arrangement not only compromised the comfort of the room but also raised concerns about the safety and well-being of guests. I believe these issues significantly impacted the quality of my stay and fall below the standards I expected from this establishment.

These people are crooks. Laptops,paperwork for trust hearing was taken. Person working was very uncoperative,was told to get my $$ back from Expedia. Too many things went wrong to explain. Manager was to be in @11,1115 I went there to be told mgr. was not coming in and would call me. Has not happened. As far as I can tell hotel employees are involved.

Prostitutes knocking on my door all hours of the night. On check-in we specifically asked about the night time noises, etc. and we were told it was quiet without annoyances. Talk about an understatement. Complaining did not work. As a matter of fact, I was asked to leave.
