This was one of the most disappointing vacation rental experiences weâve had. The mattress was in unacceptable conditionâseverely stained, visibly worn out, and so soft it caused significant back pain. Itâs clear it should have been replaced long ago.In addition, the bedroom blinds were broken, and the curtain provided wasnât large enough to cover the window. As a result, security lights from the neighboring building shone directly into the bedroom all night, making sleep even more difficult. The bottom half of the outlet in the desk area was also non-functionalâwhich was especially frustrating, as the ability to work from the unit was one of the reasons we chose this listing. The host responded that they would send an extension cord. Pathetic.We raised these concerns with the host multiple times. While one initial reply acknowledged the message, our specific request for reimbursement was ignored entirely. After three nights of poor sleep and physical discomfort, we chose to leave and check into a hotel for the final night just to get some relief and reasonable sleep.Despite repeated and reasonable requests for a refund for the unused night, the host has not responded. This experience reflects a lack of basic accountability and guest care.We are still requesting reimbursement for the final night of what was clearly a sub-par and physically uncomfortable stay.This property is neglected and not worth the risk. Strongly recommend booking elsewhere.
