We Absolutely Loved Our Stay at Deaconess Guesthouse!We loved everything about this house! The tall ceilings, comfortable sitting areas, and the beautiful color palettes in each unit made it such a special and relaxing place to stay. The promotional boards with bits of history were so fun to read and gave the home extra character.The coffee bar was a huge hit with our group, and the little touches like the ice bucket and fully stocked bathrooms (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) were so appreciated. It made our stay effortless knowing that everything we needed—paper towels, toilet paper, sponges, towels—was already provided.The place was spotless when we arrived, and it was such a treat to have TVs in every room. We really enjoyed the hot tub, and when we had a small issue, someone came right away—not only to fix it but also to clean it thoroughly. The responsiveness was top-notch. Even when we asked for a vacuum, it was delivered immediately!This property is beautifully maintained and exceptionally well-managed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jeffersonville or the Louisville area!

The house is big and unique. There are four areas that could be separate spaces - each includes a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms. We were able to gather together when we wanted to and have our own space to sleep. The teens enjoyed the hot tub, and the younger kids liked the games. The location is great. We walked along the river and to the hub of town. Highly recommend.

Another great stay at The Deaconess House! This was a repeat stay for our annual sales and marketing strategic planning and everything about our stay was great! Communication prior to and during the stay was excellent. The property was as described, all 4 units were fully stocked and more than met our needs. We had 8 adults staying plus had visitors one evening for a special dinner and the home provided plenty of room for everyone. We will likely return for a third visit next year and we highly recommend this property!

Large family vacation

We have a large (16 person) family that was looking to vacation in the Louisville area. We found this place that could accommodate everyone under one roof. The location was great as it was only minutes from downtown Louisville. The pictures and description of the property were as advertised. The only issue we ran into were the lack of venthoods in the kitchens made cooking a little smokey at times. We would have loved to use the back yard but we were unable to due to the time of year (heat and mosquitoes). Overall the property was as advertised and we would definitely recommend for larger parties like ours.

Wedding Getaway

We rented all four units of this home for a getaway with 19 people. We fit beyond perfectly in the rooms and the two sofa beds, which a friend of mine said she hasn’t slept that well in months. Having the four kitchens, extra bathrooms and fun outdoor area was the extra bonus. Location is great and there’s tons of parking. Kapil was easy to communicate with the entire weekend!

Awesome location for enjoying the barges on the river, walking to the Big Four walking bridge, and dinner in Jeffersonville! We spent most of our time on the riverside porch with a breeze! The Deaconess Guest House is well cared for and we felt welcomed by the clean, well appointed living spaces.

From the time of Booking Kapil was great at communicating. He was very professional and polite through out our stay, checking in and allowing us to reach out at our convenance. The property was as advertised. A quite location on the river with local bars and restaurants within walking distance. Our group enjoyed the backyard in the evenings playing corn hole and sitting around the fire. The place was very clean inside and out and all things where in working order. I would highly recommend for large groups as there is plenty of space to hangout or take a few minutes away from the group when you need it. I have stayed in a ton of VRBOs and this one is in my top 10 for overall value, host performance, and cleanliness.

Great location!

This house was perfect for our company. We were able to spread out and have our own rooms. The host was amazing! We unfortunately had scary weather while we were there and Kapil went above and beyond to make sure we were safe. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful in every way!

Fantastic experience! The property was exactly as described and the booking experience smooth and easy. All of my questions were answers promptly. Check-in was a breeze with fantastic lighting outside when arriving after dark. The propertly is beautiful and our corporate group enjoyed the stay immensely. The property met every need we had from the private spaces, group gathering and meeting spaces and comfortable outdoor areas. The views along the river are gorgeous and sunrise over the river was spectacular. The kitchens met our needs when we cooked in and there are also great dining options nearby for eating out or carrying out. Will definately book here again!
