This place is set up more as a wedding venue than a BNB or small hotel. Guests are an afterthought.
Not all rooms have a bathroom and the listing doesn't make this clear. Our room did not have a bathroom- we were assigned a public bathroom on the first floor that was literally as far from our room as possible to be while remaining in the building. So to use the bathroom we had to exit our room, go down a large staircase, traipse through the entre first floor (possibly encountering all the other guests and staff) to the back hallway.
On arrival, when we couldn't find the bathroom, the owner showed us impatiently to the public bathroom- when I pointed out that it appeared to be a public bathroom, he simply ripped the "toilet" sign off the door and said it was now our bathroom.
The staff consisted of a man living in the basement that does everything from making breakfast to cleaning the rooms and whatever maintenance is needed. Our room was relatively clean, but all the rest of the house was littered with glitter from the most recent wedding and was generally grubby. On the plus side, breakfast was good.
Would not return.
