« We were not originally planning on staying in Middletown but were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The Garden House is very comfortable and convenient to many things in town. « The deck is outstanding - we spent pretty much every moment, from morning coffee to evening cocktails, there. Super great communication with Martine, well-equipped kitchen, and all slept well. « Location was good, nice view, but I didn’t realize highway 20 was just 40 yards below the deck, thus somewhat noisy outside. The host was wonderful, very responsive and accommodating, couldn’t ask for more. There was some dirt on blinds and window sills, but not bad. The neighborhood was ok, a few abandoned homes down the road, but nice homes surrounding the house. Overall a good stay, we went to Blue Lakes lodge to swim the next day, nice… »
