Think twice
The location was perfect & the neighborhood is very nice, but the house itself was grody & grungy. âąA bag of trash was left on the dining table & there was trash under both queen beds in one bedroom.âąNo towel racks in one bathroom & no hand towels. (We had to purchase our own.)âąThe coffee pot had been used and put back without being washed.âąThe refrigerator had mustard stains in it, and the freezer had dead bugs and an empty ice bag.âąThe back door was not locked.âąA couple of doorknobs fell off.âąSeveral light bulbs were not screwed in all the way.âąThe front & back yards were not kept, in stark contrast to the pretty neighborhood. We didnât even go out in the backyard; it was too scary.âąThe headboards and other furniture were dusty. (I know, itâs Lubbock and the wind blows. But this was grungy dust.)âąThe sheets did seem to be clean, however. It's a really nice house & it's a shame that it was in that condition.
