The property was in a great location! Very clean. Really enjoyed walking to the beach and downtown. The condo didn't have bedding for the pull out couch. When we realized it at 10pm our first night, management called back within minutes and sheets were dropped off not too long after. Really appreciated the responsiveness!

Manistee

The Brooke harbor is a great location with beautiful beach nearby and great places for walks. The condo unit was comfortable and clean. The only drawback was that several kitchen items were not clean and had to be washed before we could use them. We also had some trouble with the code not working in the door but response was quick and helpful with that.

Nice beach/ pool location.

Great location near beach and both pools at Harbor Village. It’s a resort like place that is starting to show its age. Exercise room is quite old in average to fair condition. Condo was Comfortable for the most part but really only sleeps 4 comfortably, the pull out sofa is very uncomfortable. Clean. Neat. Beachy.

The property was within walking distance of the beach and provided convenient parking. We enjoyed the zero-stair entry as well! The property provided most everything we needed which made for a relaxing few days!

Awesome!

The location of this condo was so great! So many amazing views and beaches! The place was exactly as outlined and having the pool within steps, both pools, was so convenient. Overall pretty awesome. If any downside, the furniture was not the most comfortable but it’s a lake/beach house it was more than adequate. Easy peasy checkin and the app was so helpful. Thank you!

Post Labor day family getaway

We stayed in this lovely condo early September. The condo was clean, well equipped in terms of sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, kitchen necessities, and so on. I had read reviews just before we arrived. One review mentioned that the cooking pots/saucepans were in need of replacement--by the time we arrived, they were replaced with new ones! Other reviews mentioned that the walk in shower in the masterbedroom was under construction so not useable. We could, however, use the sinks, toilet, and jetted tub. There was a tub/shower combination in the second bathroom. While having that available was good, it is a deep tub. Between that and the glass sliding doors on the tub (versus shower curtain), it was challenging to safely get our adult son who has a disability in/out of the tub. I have arthritis in my hips and knees so this was a challenge for me also. When looking for a condo to book, I wanted one with a walk in shower. Tim, the owner, was great in terms of communicating/working with us regarding this. Tim explained the challenges he has had in getting the construction company to complete the project. Yes, we understand those challenges. The end result was that Tim provided us with a fair compensation for this inconvenience. Tim, thanks for sharing your wonderful condo with us!

Very clean and uodated. Unfortunately the pool was shut down for 2/3 of our stay the master shower was unusable. The area was decent but we preferred the Frankfort area.

Cute condo

The condo is cute and in a great location! We were disappointed the pool was closed all week and the shower in the master bathroom was under construction. We picked this unit for the the proximity to the pool and because there were 2 full bathrooms. We understand things happen though and we had a great vacation regardless. The layout of the unit worked perfectly for our family, the kids had their own hallway/ “wing”. Outdoor seating would have been nice on the patios. We cooked most meals at the condo. The kitchen was adequate, but the pots and pans left a lot to be desired. Only 1 pan was really usable and we ran to Meijer to buy grilling tools. The property manager was quick to respond and resolve any issues, even getting someone out to fix the A/C on a Sunday. There were tons of towels (for the house and the beach) plus some beach toys and chairs. It’s a quick drive to the public beach and the community was very walkable. You can definitely walk to the beach too, it’s just a bit of a hike with all the kid’s beach gear. The public beach is great - not too crowded with concessions, rentals, and restrooms. Downtown Manistee is a charming small town with some of the best ice cream we’ve found in our travels (Alpine Chocolate Haus). Overall, besides what we deemed “a series of unfortunate events”, we had a great time in Manistee. With a few tweaks and better timing this condo would be near perfect.

Light, airy and clean!

Although we weren’t able to stay in the original condo we booked due to maintenance issues, the alternate was almost perfect. It was very clean! And a great location close to town. The kitchen was a bit dark due to burned out bulbs and it lacked useful utensils, wooden spoons, spatulas etc. The beds were comfortable, just a bit of a lump in the middle. All in all we enjoyed our stay!

Nice spot to work

My husband and I used this condo to work from and it was very comfortable. I agree with the other reviewer that being so close to the pool can be noisy, but it did not bother us. The grounds are beautiful go walk around and the beach is so close, very nice.

Relaxing summer vacation
