„Our stay was really nice. Make sure you navigate to the exact coordinates provided by the host on Google maps. Attempting to navigate to the address will take you about 1/2 a mile (1km) away. There are few extra amenities at the house. Towels were in very short supply, and one had a hard spot on it. There were no washcloths. There were very few cleaning materials. There was no soap or shampoo provide. We had to read the book carefully and do the work, and wait, to have enough hot water for a ...

„Das Gästehaus ist was die Einrichtung betrifft zwar etwas "in die Jahre gekommen", aber es ist alles sehr sauber. Es ist alles da, was man benötigt. Die Gastgeberin Patricia ist sehr zuvorkommend und steht einem stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Toll ist, dass man beim Frühstück aus einem Menü wählen kann. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen :)“

„We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!“

„We had a great time at the Greenfield Lodge. The staff was very nice and the building was very clean. The cook ist an amazing Pianist and a very cool person. The full Irish breakfast ist amazing and kept our bellies filled for an entire day. We would definitly recommend this place. Thanks for the nice stay “

„The Lodge at Ashford Castle is a beautiful option for those wanting to stay near the castle but not pay the exorbitant price to stay in the castle. It was comfortable and charming and has everything you need, you have access to all the activities and you can walk the entire grounds and get beautiful photos of the castle. The breakfast is also delicious! Keep in mind that the Lodge guests can’t go inside the castle at all unless you are dining at one of the restaurants.“

„Sehr persönliche Begrüßung und Einweisung in die wirklich hoch innovative Technik der Zimmer. Die Tradition des Hauses wurde durch den neuen Südafrikanischen Eigentümer (seit 2013) durch eine Falknerei und 2 irische Wolfshunde zusätzlich erlebbar gemacht. Der neue Spa-Bereich wurde architektonisch perfekt in das historische Gebäude (ab 13. Jahrhundert) eingepaßt.“

„Es ist ein wunderschönes, kleines Hotel etwas abseits gelegen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Besonders die Kellner in der Bar sind sehr aufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist sehr groß und umfangreich. Ein Highlight ist natürlich auch der private Strandabschnitt. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und sehr sauber“

„Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase. ...

Es gibt eine Indoor Terasse, welche voll ist mit Pflanzen und zum verweilen einlädt, denn die Aussicht ins Grüne ist absolut fantastisch. Das Personal ist äussert freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen und meinen ensten Freunden empfehlen. Auch das hat eine wunderbare Aussicht. Es gibt Tische am Fenster. Das Rindsfilet war der absolute wahnsinn! Es ist etwas ringhörig, weshalb ich für geräuschempfindliche Menschen Ohropax empfehle. Wer Helligkeit nicht mag, sollte eine Augenmaske mitbringen, denn die Vorhänge dunkeln nicht zu 100% ab. "
