„It was a great place to share and rest a lot. The attention was also excellent since a lady used to gift us things, like cookies, muffins and all of that was delicious. The bathrooms worked well, the place was clean and the beds so comfortable. I recommend this place to the tourists that are going to the mountains to enjoy the snow “

„We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. Ed and Vickie were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a great place to stay. „Wairere Rest is a really special property and a perfect place for some time away. The cottage is larger than we expected and has everything you could possibly need. The gardens and property were stunning and there's so many great food and wine options in the area. Even a 5-star rating doesn't seem high enough for Wairere Rest and we hope to return at some point in the future. “

„Our cottage at The Black Sparrow was cosy and warm for our winter getaway. It was clean and comfortable and everything worked well. It was quiet and set in a beautiful location. We arrived when it was dark, so the narrow dirt roads were a little difficult to navigate and additional lighting might have helped. Overall, a fantastic place to stay for a few nights, very peaceful and private and just as close to Mt Buller for skiing as the more expensive Mansfield. Thanks!“
